The Thoroughbred Health Network Description

The THN is a collaboration, driven by stakeholders across the racing, equestrian and veterinary industries, the mission of the THN is to:

- Optimise the health of the racehorse and other equines.
- Establish a network of those whose common goal is to minimise the impact of equine injury and disease.
- Translate all available research on the most common health and performance-limiting problems into easily understandable tips to maximise the health of horses in training in GB.

To date, there have been 100’s of academic papers written about numerous aspects of Thoroughbred health which, has been inaccessible by the ultimate end-user. The THN will review the latest research and provide monthly advice on how to avoid, recognise or treat the most common health and performance-limiting problems encountered by Thoroughbreds and other equines.

If you are interested in horse health, whether practically, officially or academically, then please subscribe to our network and we will notify you of the first monthly release. www. thoroughbredhealthnetwork. co. uk.
