Had my wedding in the hotel on 4th November.it was amazing,the staff were very helpful couldn't do enough for me&my wife.the food was amazing!!excellent chef and the dj was unbelievable played an excellent range of music and all requests.the honeymoon suite was amazing.wedding organisers were so helpful and supportive helped in every way they possibly could.we can not fault a single thing about the day/night.would highly recommend the hotel for any wedding or function.thank you to all the staff you guys are the best!!
Beautiful premises and great location. Let down v badly by staff who have no interest in customer service. Plenty on but don't do anything. Totally put off and won't be back

We had a family meal to celebrate my mother's 80th Birthday - I was extremely busy and the Car Park was full not a single space. A clear indication of popularity but also potentially slow service. Indeed it was proved to be the case - due to the volume of people service was slow - the food however was worth the wait I had the Sea Bass which was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. There was a baby shower table with around 24 guests so I am sure that explained our food delay. That said the hotel has modernised considerably making it a pleasure to visit. Our visit had the potential to crash n burn as it was a struggle to hear our own conversation. Bit one member of staff (Jonathan) recognised this and despite being due to complete his shift went out of his way to ensure the birthday cake was brought through, cut up and presented in a very personal way. This ensured the whole purpose of the day was acheived and we left a happy family. I paid the bill and left a generous tip. Moral of the story is service is everything. Train well, pay well and your investment will reap the rewards. I will definitely return but on a quieter day.

Been too 4 events at the Torrance now and the facilities are 10/10 and due to have dietary issues staff have had to accommodate me and have always done so with kindness. All staff also get a 10/10. Warm and welcoming environment and would recommend it to anyone looking for either a function or a good environment for a tribute night. After 4 visits for different reasons I can honestly say I have zero complaints.
We have been overcharged by £260, and despite contacting the hotel several times they appear to be avoiding dealing with this. We have been charged £390 for 1 night B&B for two. The agreed price for one night B&B was £130 which we paid by debit card (£20 deposit and £110 on departure). On arrival we were asked for a swipe of our credit card as security against any additional charges such as drinks charged to the room. We had no additional charges and were told that nothing would taken from our credit card. We now find that they have charged £260 to our credit card and refusing to acknowledge this is a mistake.

We were staying at the Torrance Hotel overnight as part of a wedding party. We were disappointed with our stay considering the cost of £130 B&B for two. Although the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was one of the poorest I've had (this includes many budget hotels). The coffee was cold, the quality of the food was poor and the single member of staff present didn't seem to care. Our feelings were that this hotel has a very busy restaurant and bar (requiring a number of security personnel) and overnight guests are a bit of an afterthought.
I remember the original torrance hotel and its renovation is remarkable. Very sleek and sophisticated
Very relaxed place to have a midweek afternoon tea. Team were great. Cocktails a little pricey for the area but still really nice.
