The Upward Mobility Project

Established in 2006, Upward Mobility became a registered charity in 2007 and registered with the Care Commission in 2009.

We work with students in a positive and imaginative way. Our classes create a safe and supportive environment with a strong emphasis on:
Student participation in a wide range of expressive and creative activities;
Meaningful practice and creative skills, leading to greater participation in society;
Forming links between students and the local community, greater freedom of expression and the nurturing of friendships;
Promoting a healthier, safer and greener environment.
To date, we have produced two feature films, hosted five public art exhibitions (painting and photography) and held seven live original music and dance performances.
