Had an excellent time using the pool and then the spa center, especially their Jacuzzi which I just loved.

A lot could be done to improve the facilities I use the pool and health suite and there is usually a fault with either the sauna jacuzzi or steam room. I do enjoy my swimstyle membership though.

Pool is always freezing no way is it 27 degrees the jacuzzi is cold most of the time and the floor is never clean and I pay just for the swim and spa membership

Not impressed with the cleanliness of the changing rooms. Normally late for the class as reception has one person on with a queue a mile long! Last night no queue so was ok but seriously need to get cleaning in place for the changing rooms

Not enough tills open results in waste of time at reception because having to cut working out time to avoid the threat of a parking ticket. Parking is too expensive, the council should be encouraging the gym deterring it.

At peak time in the evening, ladies toilet as no toilet roll and toilet doesn't flush plus not very clean.

For the membership fee the Gym is great, but the pool being accessible only at certain very limited inconvenient times is abit of a cheek. (This should have been made clear when membership is sold to members)



You should at least keep one lane open for private members throughout the day. I've never heard of a health club/gym where it's members who pay a subscription have to wait for pool availability because it's in use by schools, swimming clubs, private training etc.. esp considering your rates are London rates for membership!

I made an agreement to pay these guys £40 a month they are now asking for £280 in arrears because I was unable to pay on the day of the month they wanted. are you joking? I tried to resolve this problem when the arrears were at £80 but I didnt have all the documents on me so I said Id call back in a week, but the arrears kept being added on around £10 a day.

what kind of sick joke is this? I am already skinned. I dont need this. The terms and conditions werent even made clear to me I just skimmed through it with someone.

Are one of your employees low on pay to charge me so much in arrears, still adding money on when Im trying to clear things up.

I'll pay them the £40 we originally agreed on that is fair. Ask for any more and you can bring me my lawyer.

The pool accessibility is very limited! The pool timetable I was given when I signed up for membership is completely wrong! The pool is constantly being used by schools, swimming clubs, private training and as a paying member, you have to share one or two lanes with other 10-15 people.



Changing rooms are so dirty.

The health suite has now not been fully working for 4 weeks. The steam room works but is absolutely disgusting! I pay full membership each month although not all facilities are available to me yet if you pay as you go your given a £4 discount per visit for the health suite not being fully functional! Not impressed!!!

On numerous occasions I arrived there to use the pool/spa etc and after finding the pool far too cold I would then go to use the hot tub, but that on most occasions was out of use due to being broken or closed for cleaning.

Calling beforehand to check didn’t work as the reception staff were often given the wrong information.

The seats in the sauna were broken and the light rope between the steps were hanging down. Very risky indeed when you’re trying to sit at the top!

The pool is very cold and I found it uncomfortable to use although I was assured it was at an acceptable temperature.

The cleaning of the changing rooms was very careless as I would often feel the spray from the hose while getting dressed. I mentioned this and was told it would be dealt with but it continued to happen.

Several emails and phone calls have resolved nothing, and even a phone call to an area manager resulted in her explaining how all the problems I’d mentioned had been repaired, ofcorse they hadn’t been at all.

I want to cancel my contract and don’t feel that I should have to pay the remainder of the term but no one replies to my calls. When I asked for some kind of refund of my monthly fee I was given 2 free swims...

Overall, useless!

All the areas are extremely dirty, I would love to be able to use the jacuzzi but is looks filthy and never been cleaned since the day the centre been open , all is outdated , it looks like nothing has been done since first opening but membership prices are from today very expensive and nothing to offer for that price

I think the prices should reflect the state that is in it the centre

Sauna has broken seats , steam room is always dirty and I felt sick a few times siting there trying to relax and see all the dirtiness around

I took my 2yo & 5yo to go swimming. The time table online says the teaching pool is open. We need this pool as the kids are so little. Got there to be told it’s not open. This is the third time this has happened, at two different Venues of yours! Staff are absolutely no help whatsoever nor do they even apologise for the inconvenience! This all happens AFTER you pay for parking too! Awful customer service. Your website should correspond with your business!

Hmmmm... from what to start I don't know price monthly is 56£ machines are old there's no conditioner always hot like in hell theres no windows to open... steam room is totally tyred... souna is not that bad but I can't understand how people still using that jacuzzi it looks like nobody cleaned it for ages... pool isn't bad atleast .... it's not worth to pay 56£ by the way lockers aswell doesn't work properly half of them doesn't unlock and everytime u need to bring 50p coin to put your stuff would be much better to put normal lockers where u can use your lock atleast u will not need to have key everywhere with u ....

Don't take Babies swimming here. I took my 2 sons swimming on Monday morning during summer holiday. The baby pool was closed. Apparently only open between 6pm and 8.30pm (dinner time and bedtime for most babies) so we had to use the main pool. It was freezing. Had to take the baby out after 15 minutes as he was shivering. Nowhere to put him down so I couldn't shower. The only place to leave him was a changing table with no safety belt. The changing rooms are ridiculous. Overpriced and in need of a complete overhaul. Don't go here. I won't be returning.

Not enough tills open results in waste of time at reception because having to cut working out time to avoid the threat of a parking ticket. Parking is too expensive, the council should be encouraging the gym deterring it.

At peak time in the evening, ladies toilet as no toilet roll and toilet doesn't flush plus not very clean.

For the membership fee the Gym is great, but the pool being accessible only at certain very limited inconvenient times is abit of a cheek. (This should have been made clear when membership is sold to members)



You should at least keep one lane open for private members throughout the day. I've never heard of a health club/gym where it's members who pay a subscription have to wait for pool availability because it's in use by schools, swimming clubs, private training etc.. esp considering your rates are London rates for membership!

we use the swimming pool every Sunday and the changing rooms are always filthy and rubbish all over the floor!! As for the temperature of the water it is freezing!!

Bushey and potters bar as a much more comfortable temperature.

pool was absolutely freezing today than what it was advertised at reception which was apparently 27c?! � took my 10 month old along, barely anywhere to swim as majority of the pool had swimming lessons & the changing rooms are awful as there wasn't any for just big families to change individually made it even worse as they were filthy! definitely won't be returning!

Very Bad, I would never recommend them to a friend or enemy for that matter. I made an agreement to pay these guys £40 a month they are now asking for £280 in arrears because I was unable to pay on the day of the month they wanted. are you joking? I tried to resolve this problem when the arrears were at £80 but I didnt have all the documents on me so I said Id call back in a week, but the arrears kept being added on around £10 a day.

what kind of sick joke is this? I am already skinned. I dont need this. The terms and conditions werent even made clear to me I just skimmed through it with someone.

Are one of your employees low on pay to charge me so much in arrears, still adding money on when Im trying to clear things up.

I'll pay them the £40 we originally agreed on that is fair. Ask for any more and you can bring me my lawyer.

Today was my first visit to the pool. Firstly the codes given did not open any door! So I had to go back to ask for new codes. Secondly there was a bid P°° in the toilet. That toilet should have bern closed or least a note saying :'Broken!Do not use!'. In the end I could not notice the rust/hygene problems everywhere! Wake up people! We pay to go in so we do expect certain things for that!Kita

The pool accessibility is very limited! The pool timetable I was given when I signed up for membership is completely wrong! The pool is constantly being used by schools, swimming clubs, private training and as a paying member, you have to share one or two lanes with other 10-15 people.



Changing rooms are so dirty.

The health suite has now not been fully working for 4 weeks. The steam room works but is absolutely disgusting! I pay full membership each month although not all facilities are available to me yet if you pay as you go your given a £4 discount per visit for the health suite not being fully functional! Not impressed!!!

On numerous occasions I arrived there to use the pool/spa etc and after finding the pool far too cold I would then go to use the hot tub, but that on most occasions was out of use due to being broken or closed for cleaning.

Calling beforehand to check didn’t work as the reception staff were often given the wrong information.

The seats in the sauna were broken and the light rope between the steps were hanging down. Very risky indeed when you’re trying to sit at the top!

The pool is very cold and I found it uncomfortable to use although I was assured it was at an acceptable temperature.

The cleaning of the changing rooms was very careless as I would often feel the spray from the hose while getting dressed. I mentioned this and was told it would be dealt with but it continued to happen.

Several emails and phone calls have resolved nothing, and even a phone call to an area manager resulted in her explaining how all the problems I’d mentioned had been repaired, ofcorse they hadn’t been at all.

I want to cancel my contract and don’t feel that I should have to pay the remainder of the term but no one replies to my calls. When I asked for some kind of refund of my monthly fee I was given 2 free swims...

Overall, useless!

All the areas are extremely dirty, I would love to be able to use the jacuzzi but is looks filthy and never been cleaned since the day the centre been open , all is outdated , it looks like nothing has been done since first opening but membership prices are from today very expensive and nothing to offer for that price

I think the prices should reflect the state that is in it the centre

Sauna has broken seats , steam room is always dirty and I felt sick a few times siting there trying to relax and see all the dirtiness around

Changing rooms it makes me laugh as I have never lived in 1940 years but I feel like I am going back in 1940 years by the way it looks and how dirty it is , anyway in 1940 years The memberships price wouldn’t been so expensive definitely,prices are like is poshest Heath centre

I took my 2yo & 5yo to go swimming. The time table online says the teaching pool is open. We need this pool as the kids are so little. Got there to be told it’s not open. This is the third time this has happened, at two different Venues of yours! Staff are absolutely no help whatsoever nor do they even apologise for the inconvenience! This all happens AFTER you pay for parking too! Awful customer service. Your website should correspond with your business!

Hmmmm... from what to start I don't know price monthly is 56£ machines are old there's no conditioner always hot like in hell theres no windows to open... steam room is totally tyred... souna is not that bad but I can't understand how people still using that jacuzzi it looks like nobody cleaned it for ages... pool isn't bad atleast .... it's not worth to pay 56£ by the way lockers aswell doesn't work properly half of them doesn't unlock and everytime u need to bring 50p coin to put your stuff would be much better to put normal lockers where u can use your lock atleast u will not need to have key everywhere with u ....

Don't take Babies swimming here. I took my 2 sons swimming on Monday morning during summer holiday. The baby pool was closed. Apparently only open between 6pm and 8.30pm (dinner time and bedtime for most babies) so we had to use the main pool. It was freezing. Had to take the baby out after 15 minutes as he was shivering. Nowhere to put him down so I couldn't shower. The only place to leave him was a changing table with no safety belt. The changing rooms are ridiculous. Overpriced and in need of a complete overhaul. Don't go here. I won't be returning.

Been a member of the venue borehamwood for several years and I have to say it’s gone so downhill it’s getting beyond a joke. Health suite is non existent as the only option available is the steam room, which hardly ever has any steam in it. Jacuzzi not-been working for three weeks not sure why I am surprised it’s broken more than its fixed. If you’re thinking of joining save your £400 a year then you won’t be disappointed
