We had our wedding here yesterday and could not fault it one bit! The staff were so attentive and bent over backwards to accommodate all of our wishes. Our day coordinator was great at reassuring me and helping me with my dress during photos and our evening coordinator was fantastic! She was so lovely and helpful and really made our experience even better. She bent over backwards to assist us and even stepped in when we were let down by one of suppliers.



The food was AMAZING! And all of our guests commented on how good it tasted and how hot everything was!



The overnight stay in the log cabin was absolute bliss and breakfast in the morning was lovely.



Thank you for an amazing day we will never forget!

We got married on 03/12/17 and was a very nervous bride!! But the driver that drove me and my dad supplied by the Vu was amazing! He just put me at ease, and made me feel like he knew me by saying things like ‘Nicola, are you ok? Don’t worry we will look after you’. When I got to the venue the one of the first faces i saw was Kirsten (wedding coordinator) and she was just lovely, put me at ease, talked through the steps of the ceremony and again just put me at ease. After the ceremony, Kirsten still stood by and helped with the photo’s to ensure everything ran on schedule. She then took us to the side to let me have a smoke, and then showed us the bridal room, told us the food orders were being taken and supplied my and my husband drinks and canopies and told us to take all the time we needed to just take everything all in (which I needed) Kirsten popped in a couple times to see if we were ok and letting us know when she was ready to anounce the speaches. Food was absolutely amazing! I didn’t manage to get any buffet later as was dancing so much, but my guests have all told me how great the food was. Other feedback from guests was it was the best wedding they had ever been too, so much so my sister in law is seriously looking to book. The venue looked gorgeous! Had the lights we supplied for table centres and done everything we asked for! Kirsten spoke to me before she left to ensure i was ok. At the end of the night, the bar staff were amazing, the gave us cans of Irn bru to take up into the lodge and even drove us up with all out gifts. The lodge was beautiful! And to my surprise it was Kirsten that brought up our breakfast the next morning! She is clearly a very hard working girl and puts so much effort into what she does! I was heartbroken to find out that a guests bag was stolen, it could have been a damper on the whole day if I wasn’t able to find out who it was, but yet again the staff at the vu went over and above to help us, and due the the cctv security on site, we could identify the guest responsible and have been able to get the issue resolved! I suffer terrible anxiety at times, but the way everything was organised, the way Kirsten took us through each step of the way, and the service we received from absolutely every staff member we spoke to was amazing! We got married here on Sunday 31st December. The staff couldn’t be more helpful, the venu was amazing, everything ran so smoothly and to plan and we didn’t have to worry about anything. We had the most amazing wedding/hogmanay and everything was perfect. We would highly recommend this place to anyone getting married!

We got married here on Fri 22nd June and we can not thank all of the staff at the Vu enough for making our day so special. The day went so smoothly and the team were just amazing. All of our guests have not stopped commenting on the food, the service, the venue itself and how well it was organised. Even after the wedding had finished the staff helped us to our cabin with all of our gifts and took us by car to the cabin. Breakfast was amazing the next morning and the log cabin itself was just stunning. I can not emphasise enough how much we actually got to enjoy our day all thanks to the friendly and professional staff at The Vu and thank you again and good luck to any future brides and grooms xx

We got married here on 22/10/17 and it was a perfect day. Everything ran so smoothly and our day just flew in! Loved every minute and can’t fault anything.

Our wedding coordinator was Hannah so if you get her on the day then you can relax because she is so good at her job!

We got married here Saturday 9th December, everything was absolutely perfect, stunning venue, location, food was amazing, Dj was brilliant, but mostly the staff made us feel a million dollars, like we were the only bride and groom they ever had! Special thanks to our co ordinator on the day Hannah, she was beyond excellent, nothing was too much trouble and she really made our day amazing. That girl is a credit to the Vu. We got married at The Vu on Sunday the 6th �from start to finish the staff were all amazing especially Hannah our wedding coordinator. The food was fabulous and huge portions� I would highly recommend The Vu for anyone looking for a wedding venue. This was the venue for my daughter’s wedding on 16th June 2018. Every single staff member was friendly, helpful and really seemed to enjoy their job. Everything from the drivers to the girls who helped my daughter get all the Kirby out her hair at the end of the night we’re fantas. Could not imagine a better venue

This venue is stunning! We had our wedding day 21/01/18 everything went perfectly. The staff and coordinator couldn't have done more for us. Would highly recommend anyone to book their special day here you won't be disappointed!

My daughter and her husband had their wedding at The Vu last weekend and I can honestly say that it is the best wedding venue I've been in. The wedding cars were beautiful and all of the staff from the limousine drivers, to the wedding coordinators, the waitresses and the bar staff were all very helpful. The food was excellent and there was plenty for everyone. A stunning setting to allow plenty of photos of the big day. For those of you who read reviews before you book any venue (as I do) don't hesitate and get yourself along to The Vu - you will not be disappointed. Amazing.

I got married here on 18th may 2015 and what an amazing day we had the venue is stunning and the staff were all amazing they could not do enough for all of us and the log cabins were out of this world wish we could have had stayed longer. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is getting married wish I could do it all over again.

Got married on Sunday there was the best day of my life the vu made it perfect day for me and my wife couldn’t be happier with the service they gave us �

Everything was fantastic! The drivers who picked us up were so lovely and were in radio communication with the wedding coordinator to make sure we didn't arrive before a couple of late guests. Our wedding co-ordinator Kirsten was fabulous. She talked us through everything and was on hand throughout the day. We had the manager check in with us a couple of times too just to make sure we were happy with how the day was going. The meal was delicious as was the evening buffet - we'd asked to make a change to the meal at our tasting and they happily accommodated this for us. The dj kept the dance floor bouncing all night. Our only glitch was the light up dance floor wouldn't work for our first dance but they managed to get it working shortly after.



The stay in the lodge was wonderful and the perfect end to our time at the vu. We were driven up at the end of the night and it was nice and cosy for our arrival. Breakfast the next day was delicious although we didn't manage to eat it all!



I wish we could go back and re-live it over and over again!

We got married here on 05/07/18 and it was amazing from start to finish! The staff were faultless, the food was amazing, the venue was stunning and we had the best weather. The wedding coordinator on the day was SO attentive and my mum and Dad both personally thanked her for how amazing she was. She went over and above to ensure our day was perfect.



The reason I have scored 4 instead of 5 is because I am having my bouquet persevered and the only thing we specifically asked for from the venue was for my flowers to be kept upright in a glass of water until we collected the next morning after our stay in the beautiful lodge.



The wedding coordinator made sure my flowers were stored in the little bridal room in water however upon collecting our belongings the next morning, my flowers had been taken out of the glass which was next to my bouquet which was lying on its side resulting in the petals being all bruised - something the florist insisted could not happen.



I was very upset and when speaking to a supervisor we felt that she did not deal with it appropriately which caused raised tension and a heated discussion - something that was extremely uncomfortable especially after such a wonderful day.



We felt she did not know what to say or how to deal with the situation acting very defensive and saying none of the staff could have access to the room although the staff tidy everything up and put the belongings in bridal room so this was clearly untrue.



We know it was not done out of malice but the reaction we initially got caused unnecessary tension and bad feeling - it could have been dealt with much more professionally in the first instance.



My advice to anyone looking for something specific like we were would be to take it back to the lodge with you even if you are assured that it will be safe or taken care of anywhere else. I now wish I had done this as we have had to pay for new flowers as the bouquet I had on the day is no longer useable to send to have them preserved.



Overall our day was amazing and I could not fault anything to do with our actual wedding - just a shame that the next day it turned a bit sour.

We had our wedding here yesterday and could not fault it one bit! The staff were so attentive and bent over backwards to accommodate all of our wishes. Our day coordinator was great at reassuring me and helping me with my dress during photos and our evening coordinator was fantastic! She was so lovely and helpful and really made our experience even better. She bent over backwards to assist us and even stepped in when we were let down by one of suppliers.



The food was AMAZING! And all of our guests commented on how good it tasted and how hot everything was!



The overnight stay in the log cabin was absolute bliss and breakfast in the morning was lovely.

We got married on 03/12/17 and was a very nervous bride!! But the driver that drove me and my dad supplied by the Vu was amazing! He just put me at ease, and made me feel like he knew me by saying things like ‘Nicola, are you ok? Don’t worry we will look after you’. When I got to the venue the one of the first faces i saw was Kirsten (wedding coordinator) and she was just lovely, put me at ease, talked through the steps of the ceremony and again just put me at ease. After the ceremony, Kirsten still stood by and helped with the photo’s to ensure everything ran on schedule. She then took us to the side to let me have a smoke, and then showed us the bridal room, told us the food orders were being taken and supplied my and my husband drinks and canopies and told us to take all the time we needed to just take everything all in (which I needed) Kirsten popped in a couple times to see if we were ok and letting us know when she was ready to anounce the speaches. Food was absolutely amazing! I didn’t manage to get any buffet later as was dancing so much, but my guests have all told me how great the food was. Other feedback from guests was it was the best wedding they had ever been too, so much so my sister in law is seriously looking to book. The venue looked gorgeous! Had the lights we supplied for table centres and done everything we asked for! Kirsten spoke to me before she left to ensure i was ok. At the end of the night, the bar staff were amazing, the gave us cans of Irn bru to take up into the lodge and even drove us up with all out gifts. The lodge was beautiful! And to my surprise it was Kirsten that brought up our breakfast the next morning! She is clearly a very hard working girl and puts so much effort into what she does! I was heartbroken to find out that a guests bag was stolen, it could have been a damper on the whole day if I wasn’t able to find out who it was, but yet again the staff at the vu went over and above to help us, and due the the cctv security on site, we could identify the guest responsible and have been able to get the issue resolved! I suffer terrible anxiety at times, but the way everything was organised, the way Kirsten took us through each step of the way, and the service we received from absolutely every staff member we spoke to was amazing! We got married here on the 30th September 2017. What a fantastic day and night we had. We can’t thank all the stuff enough for all the hard work they put into our special day. All our guests loved it and thought the venue was stunning. Thank you once again lots of love Mr & Mrs Draper x

We got married here on Sunday 31st December. The staff couldn’t be more helpful, the venu was amazing, everything ran so smoothly and to plan and we didn’t have to worry about anything. We had the most amazing wedding/hogmanay and everything was perfect. We would highly recommend this place to anyone getting married!

We got married here on Fri 22nd June and we can not thank all of the staff at the Vu enough for making our day so special. The day went so smoothly and the team were just amazing. All of our guests have not stopped commenting on the food, the service, the venue itself and how well it was organised. Even after the wedding had finished the staff helped us to our cabin with all of our gifts and took us by car to the cabin. Breakfast was amazing the next morning and the log cabin itself was just stunning. I can not emphasise enough how much we actually got to enjoy our day all thanks to the friendly and professional staff at The Vu and thank you again and good luck to any future brides and grooms xx

We got married here on 3/3/18, it was an amazing day and everyone pulled out all the stops to make sure our day was perfect considering all the snow we had that week. Would recommend this place to anyone who is thinking of getting married. Thanks again Lyndsay and Phil

We got married here on 22/10/17 and it was a perfect day. Everything ran so smoothly and our day just flew in! Loved every minute and can’t fault anything.

Our wedding coordinator was Hannah so if you get her on the day then you can relax because she is so good at her job!

We got married here Saturday 9th December, everything was absolutely perfect, stunning venue, location, food was amazing, Dj was brilliant, but mostly the staff made us feel a million dollars, like we were the only bride and groom they ever had! Special thanks to our co ordinator on the day Hannah, she was beyond excellent, nothing was too much trouble and she really made our day amazing. That girl is a credit to the Vu. Also my driver was brilliant! Loved it all, wish I could do it all over again. Thank you so much The Vu, couldn’t have asked for anything more.

We got married at The Vu on Sunday the 6th �from start to finish the staff were all amazing especially Hannah our wedding coordinator. The food was fabulous and huge portions� I would highly recommend The Vu for anyone looking for a wedding venue. This was the venue for my daughter’s wedding on 16th June 2018. Every single staff member was friendly, helpful and really seemed to enjoy their job. Everything from the drivers to the girls who helped my daughter get all the Kirby out her hair at the end of the night we’re fantas. Could not imagine a better venue

This venue is stunning! We had our wedding day 21/01/18 everything went perfectly. The staff and coordinator couldn't have done more for us. Would highly recommend anyone to book their special day here you won't be disappointed!

My daughter and her husband had their wedding at The Vu last weekend and I can honestly say that it is the best wedding venue I've been in. The wedding cars were beautiful and all of the staff from the limousine drivers, to the wedding coordinators, the waitresses and the bar staff were all very helpful. The food was excellent and there was plenty for everyone. A stunning setting to allow plenty of photos of the big day. For those of you who read reviews before you book any venue (as I do) don't hesitate and get yourself along to The Vu - you will not be disappointed. Amazing.

I got married here on 18th may 2015 and what an amazing day we had the venue is stunning and the staff were all amazing they could not do enough for all of us and the log cabins were out of this world wish we could have had stayed longer. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is getting married wish I could do it all over again.

Got married on Sunday there was the best day of my life the vu made it perfect day for me and my wife couldn’t be happier with the service they gave us �

Everything was fantastic! The drivers who picked us up were so lovely and were in radio communication with the wedding coordinator to make sure we didn't arrive before a couple of late guests. Our wedding co-ordinator Kirsten was fabulous. She talked us through everything and was on hand throughout the day. We had the manager check in with us a couple of times too just to make sure we were happy with how the day was going. The meal was delicious as was the evening buffet - we'd asked to make a change to the meal at our tasting and they happily accommodated this for us. The dj kept the dance floor bouncing all night. Our only glitch was the light up dance floor wouldn't work for our first dance but they managed to get it working shortly after.



The stay in the lodge was wonderful and the perfect end to our time at the vu. We were driven up at the end of the night and it was nice and cosy for our arrival. Breakfast the next day was delicious although we didn't manage to eat it all!



I wish we could go back and re-live it over and over again!

We got married here on 05/07/18 and it was amazing from start to finish! The staff were faultless, the food was amazing, the venue was stunning and we had the best weather. The wedding coordinator on the day was SO attentive and my mum and Dad both personally thanked her for how amazing she was. She went over and above to ensure our day was perfect.



The reason I have scored 4 instead of 5 is because I am having my bouquet persevered and the only thing we specifically asked for from the venue was for my flowers to be kept upright in a glass of water until we collected the next morning after our stay in the beautiful lodge.



The wedding coordinator made sure my flowers were stored in the little bridal room in water however upon collecting our belongings the next morning, my flowers had been taken out of the glass which was next to my bouquet which was lying on its side resulting in the petals being all bruised - something the florist insisted could not happen.



I was very upset and when speaking to a supervisor we felt that she did not deal with it appropriately which caused raised tension and a heated discussion - something that was extremely uncomfortable especially after such a wonderful day.



We felt she did not know what to say or how to deal with the situation acting very defensive and saying none of the staff could have access to the room although the staff tidy everything up and put the belongings in bridal room so this was clearly untrue.



We know it was not done out of malice but the reaction we initially got caused unnecessary tension and bad feeling - it could have been dealt with much more professionally in the first instance.



My advice to anyone looking for something specific like we were would be to take it back to the lodge with you even if you are assured that it will be safe or taken care of anywhere else. I now wish I had done this as we have had to pay for new flowers as the bouquet I had on the day is no longer useable to send to have them preserved.



Overall our day was amazing and I could not fault anything to do with our actual wedding - just a shame that the next day it turned a bit sour.
