Delighted for us to say, we've achieved the Visit Scotland 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ award with a score of excellent. Next weekend , 18th and 19th and only 3 miles from the park, is the magnificent Knockbrake Railroad open day. Built by our big pal Gordon Ross, it's a must see ,as it's not open to the public the rest of the year. Tea, coffee and cakes too, for the entry price . Weathers to be good too, so why not come to our park for a weekend or overnighter, with your Moho, caravan or tent and go and enjoy this spectacular set up. After another good dry weekend for us, it rounded off nicely with an overnight visit from this wonderful classic Morris 1000. Debbie and Tom and their dogs Ralph and Poppy are travelling throughout the UK raising money for cancer research. We were more than happy to donate a free pitch for the night, especially as I got to drive it. Also just before the weekend this big old steam train came puffing by at Kilkerran crossing. #VisitSWScotland #VisitScotland Classic Car Relay for Life

Keep a date for this event. Gordon is a great friend of ours and every May he opens his doors to his wonderful railroad. It's a charity event and a real not to miss event. We'd just like to say thank you to all our campers and their dogs,for making our 1 st holiday weekend a huge success. The sun shone all weekend,everyone was smiling,the site was officially full ( even had to use our 2 emergency pitches ). 5 German motorhomes , people up from England and we had fantastic feedback on our hard work and dedication to making our park great. Busy morning pouring the slab and thanks to the volunteer helpers. Our first 2 person lodge will be on here soon.

There's a mystery afoot. Doing my usual searching about with my Grandaughter and we came across this. On 1st look we thought it was animal poop, but it's huge and no animal about here could produce it. Our only conclusion, is it's The Lady Glen Sasquatch or maybe even a Troll. There's a cave high up on the rock face in the pic, so further investigation required 🤫🤔 #swc300 #visitscotland #sasquatch
