The Water House Inn

I have rated the accommodation which was good, central location in town, free parking opposite. Bathroom was good TV was tiny so bring binoculars. Given its above a pub it wasn’t overly noisy and sleep was easy even on a Saturday night.

The restaurant below would be a 2.5, the food will fill you up but it isn’t anything to shout about. Macaroni and cheese with chips and a chicken salad with chips are weird combinations but both were fine.

We stopped for a tea in this cozy little place near the harbour with awesome homemade scones, would go back again.

Great tasting food, warm welcome and comfy surroundings

Absolutely terrible experience. My friend ordered a vegetarian salad, which came wigh a huge pile of store-bought tuna salad on top of it. After we complained about it, they still made us pay for it! IN FULL! Didn't even apologize or anything. The rest of the food we had was lousy too, all convenience stuff, nothing home made about it. Bad coffee and the table was sticky too. This place lacks of management, kitchen skills and service. To yourself a favour and go ANYWHERE else!

Stopped in to get tea and snack late afternoon. Staff very accomodating even though we arrived at what was start of their dinner service. Had a great homemade pavlova. Servers were very pleasant and food arrived quickly.
