The Waterfront Chip Shop

Got three fish suppers, best fish and chips I have had for a long time. They also do battered picked eggs, battered pickles. Which where only 50p.

Freshly cooked and delicious. Good value too

I used to love this place but they've really gone downhill recently... high price for awful soggy chips... disappointing...

Friendly staff and a good portion of fish and chips just order single unless your starving or sharing.

Anstruther is famous for it's Fish & Chips and this little hidden gem is one of the best ones. The Chips are nice but it's the Fish that make it, the crispy batter is wonderful but the caught fresh fish is simply amazing. I haven't tried any other item on the menu as I haven't tired of the Fish & Chips however as it is a day trip destination and not a regular haunt it may be some time before I try anything else on the Menu.

The silence when eating our fresh haddock and chips said it all! Very good quality fish and chips. The batter was light, crisp and well drained. The fish which was haddock was as thick as it can be these days, fresh and tasty. The chips were soft in the middle, with some crispy and some just well cooked. Its really worth passing though Anstruther just for the fish and chips from the Waterfront.
