Sharon and all the staff would like to welcome you to “The Wee Bistro”. Its been a long hard year in the making as I’m sure anyone in business will understand. We are very proud of what we have achieved and we pride ourselves on sourcing the highest quality local produce to bring to your plate.
Our staff have been personally selected from the local area for their personality, character and professionalism. They have been trained to a high standard and have great knowledge of everything we do at the bistro. We are available for private hire Monday-Thursday for any special occasions. We offer a selection of menus and can discuss bespoke menus to suit your needs and budget.
Our menu has been sympathetically designed to make use of the seasonality of produce without overcomplicating our guest. We have went to lengths to ensure we have a selection of vegetarian, gluten free and lactose intolerent dishes. Our staff are well versed in the allergens that are present in all our foodstuffs and a full listed breakdown is availible on request. The provinance of our food is also very important to us as is animal well being in the process. A full list of our suppliers and origin of produce is availible on request also.
The wine list has been expertly put together by Guy and his team at Inverarity Morton to compliment our menu and restaurant style. They have been careful to include bubbles for that special occasion or if there is no occasion at all. We have tasted them all . . . . trust me, one of the hardest parts of the job, but someone had to do it.
Our coffee is supplied by ‘Italian Aroma coffee’ after trying countless other companies we found Marco Giambastinis, Clydebank roastery by far one of the best on the market. His passion to his produce is unparalled and this shows in the flavour, which is rich and well rounded on the palette just enough so its not too bitter, a great wee pick me up in the morning or after a beautiful meal. Our travels and work have taken us all over the world working with some of the finest craftsmen. We hope we can share this with all our guests at The Wee Bistro and let people know the best things really do come in ‘wee packages’.
