Excellent prices, delicious food, friendly and accommodating staff and gluten free options. The afternoon tea looked rather nice too! Well worth a trip

beautiful interior - delicious food and drinks - but no service!!
we arrived on thursday afternoon, were seated in the chinese room and then kind of forgotten. We managed to order the menu after 10 minutes and then ordered food & drinks. It took them more then 30 minutes !!! to prepare tea for two, one scone and a club sandwich! There were only 4 other guests at this time so I am not sure what the problem was? The waitresses had no idea how to react to our complaints and disappeared as soon as we had our order.
This is such a shame because we were really looking forward to this visit.
Will not come back and recommend to visit other cafes and tea rooms.

Hidden gem. Lovely menu, great range of teas and other drinks. Good food menu also. Great decor and ambiance. Great to bring visitors. Convenient city location.

Went recently for a birthday, myself and my daughter had the vegan tea and husband the haggis meal and cake. The food was lovely, and the tearooms themselves were lovely. The only minor complaint I had was that we had booked ahead of time but when we arrived we still had to wait a good 15 - 20 minutes for a seat, there was a large queue and we did skip most of it but not all. But overall a minor annoyance in an otherwise lovely lunch. Definitely recommended.

Very fun place to stop for an "authentic tea room experience." This one may be a tad hard to find, as you have to find a door way and take stairs up.

We sat on the first level and had great service. The food (and of course) the tea was great. The price was surprisingly reasonable too.

Good place. The first scones I tried in my life, a good choice. You can purchase souvenirs of Charles Macintosh and of Willow House

A pastiche of the more historic Willow Tea Room to be found on Sauchiehall Street, but all the hallmarks of Charles Rennie Mackintosh can be found here - from the high backed chairs, to the familiar rose designs liberally stenciled around the place.

The food is not bad, but of course the tea is the star of the show here, with plenty of options available.

The Tea Rooms are usually very busy, so it's often advisable to phone ahead before arriving. Service can also be a little slow, so factor in a longer dining experience than you may have planned for.

Wee CRM themed shop also housed in the premises offering some nicely curated trinkets and souvenirs.
