Hi, my name is Joanna Rampton and I am the founder of The Wooly Duck's Crochet Page

I started my adventure with crochet in 2013 and haven't stopped since. Once I've learnt the basics, I have been mostly creating my own designs, using the trial and error method : ) I tend to create my own things rather than use a pattern because it makes it so much more special and unique. I get inspirations from various crochet pages and magazines and from my children.

I have 3 children , all under five but it gives me the opportunity to try the crocheted items on them, to get the sizing right, when writing down a new pattern. For adults, I've got my husband and myself to model the items on, which also works out great.

I really enjoy crocheting things for other people, it makes me very proud to see them and their children wearing hats, scarves, cardigans etc. made by me, it gives me a sense of achievement.

When I started getting a lot of orders from people who've seen the things I've made, my friends and family convinced me that the time was right to start my own business so Here I Am.
