At the end of September 2014, I moved 200 miles away from life as I knew it, to live under one roof with my husband and our 2 little girls. He had been commuting the 200 mile trip for nearly 2 years, so it was time for me to do my bit!

I was working in the wedding industry, running Flutterby Bridal Hair, for the past 5 years. In that time, I self taught myself how to make jewellery, tiaras, hair accessories etc for some of my brides.

I like to try and turn my hand to a lot of crafts that cross my path along the way!

For Christmas 2013, my little girls asked me for a 'lalaloopsy' style hats, which I couldn't find anywhere in the UK. So armed with a crochet hook, some yarn and a You Tube tutorial video, I managed to make one! I was so chuffed! However, it didn't fit my then 6 year old. Or even my then 3 year old. In fact, it wouldn't have even fitted a newborn! Ha ha! But I didn't give up! And I haven't put down the crochet hook since!

Now, with baby number 3 making it's appearance later on this summer, I have decided to make what I can, in the spare time I can find, and put together a small business with my makes.
