Thistle Help are mobility and small aids specialists based in Irvine, Ayrshire. We supply, hire and repair a wide range of equipment including mobility scooters, riser recliner chairs, adjustable beds, manual and power wheelchairs & daily living aids.

Thistle Help Ltd was founded in 2007 by George Ruddick and Laura Hays in order to provide a comprehensive range of assisted living aids that truly reflects the needs of those who require support for care and mobility:

Based in Ayrshire, Thistle Help's premises include a spacious showroom with parking outside.

Thistle Help are committed to staff training on a continuous basis. Staff regularly attend courses to develop their skills in order to provide an even better service. Courses undertaken include Moving & Handling, Trusted Adviser, Managing Development and numerous sales courses.

Through their commitment to the Modern Apprenticeship Programme, the Company were recently runners up in Skills Development Scotland's Small Employer of the Year category at the Annual MA Awards. Thistle Help are proud to have been recognised for their commitment to the MA programme and intend to continue to support the programme when recruiting new staff in future.

We have recently won the contract to service and repair the ASN equipment within the schools of North Ayrshire Council.
