Wow what a team thank you thank you thank you. it was a very hard day for me yesterday having to say goodbye to my best friend Bo , but the kindness and understanding you all showed at this time really really helped you guys at clovonstone rock big big thanks from Bo's mum Alison x

Was very taken at speed at which my question was when I popped in at chesser surgery. Booked our Skye in for Her BVA health xrays. Apart from the cost which is why I went there I got appointment with James very quickly. Our other girl Zoe was to be spayed now that when has given us 4 beautiful litters. Again the quick answer and appointment was great

The treatment etc from James prior to surgery and after on pucki g her up plus the checks after has left a good impression.

The big question is is James and the team ready for the other 2 shepherds plus puppy checks etc.

Was in today to do the most hardest thing in my life and say goodbye to my beautiful cat Chelsea. You made it so peaceful and meaningful at this difficult time. Thank you so much xx

Visited James and his team for our 10 week old cockapoo Oakley's first visit. They were all very welcoming and spent time getting to know our little man. Thank you guys ’┐Į

The team at Chesser are amazing! Have all worked so hard with my little milo to help him get better after his accident. So much so that after what looked like milo was going to be paralysed, after him

Being stuck in a window for over an hour, he was back to 100% within a month and is now back to causing chaos! Thank you so much guys! We really appreciate everything you do! ’┐Į

The best... been takin all our furry, big & small animals here for the last 23yrs. But most recently one of our 3 dogs was diagnosed with a cancerous tumour. They are so compassionate & care abt ur needs as well as your furbaby. Not pushy in any way, give you time to take things in! Well we hope my boy wil b bak to runnin abt with the other 2 after his amputation of hind leg & part of his pelvis which he is havin soon. But with the expert care by Thistle we may hav not had this outcome. So a huge thank you to James for all your expert advice & care. The Bennetts x

Thank you, all at Thistle, for your care of my dog Jake over the last 14 years. Mostly we went to Chesser, where latterly we benefited from James's cardiac expertise, but we also got to know Clovenstone over the last couple of years when Jake was referred up to Catriona for accupuncture.



Holistic care as well as more usual vet treatments, fabulous staff, & good facilities.



And heartfelt thanks for Catriona and Kay for giving our beloved dog a dignified end in his own home. I've always recommended Thistle, and will continue to do so. Thank you.

My little cat is quite a handful when I take her to the vets & they're all very patient & caring towards her. I've never had to wait for an appointment either which is fab as I work office hours.

Special thanks to Scott for putting up with Lucy's hissing, biting & running around a couple of weeks ago. She does like to embarrass me on her vet visits lol

My Jack Russell Otis was referred here by my own Vets, was greeted & treated by one of the owners Donald. He was Fantastic, great with Otis and went through the process of what would happen. Very professional and informative. All the rest of front of house staff were fab too. Would highly recommend Thistle Vets.

Just back from consultations with Donald MacTaggart and his team with Tilly and Molly STECS Scottie Rescues. A 400 mile round trip.

We received an excellent welcome a cup of tea for us and water for the girls. All the staff were friendly caring and understanding.

Donald spent 3 hours with us and he has explained everything in ordinary terms. He carried out tests and gave us immediate results. We have treatment that we can start immediately and feel confident that our Scotties will get better with the help from the team at Thistle Vets

James and the team have been so kind to us and Nero in our times of need. Kind, compassionate, caring and very good knowledgable pup medics. ’┐Į

I think thistle vets is amazing I have my 3 cats up there and my oldest one that is 21 years old and she been there for that long to and she loves going up she aways looked happy going there and you are all so helpful and friendly

I cant praise Thistle Vets enough. we have a rescue dog who has been seen by other vets as a "problem' dog, so much so that one vet suggested putting her down! Thistle Vets on the other hand listened to her limitations and treated her accordingly and for the first time since we got her a few years ago she is finally not afraid of the vets! Its a miracle. So pleased we can now get her regular check ups and we have signed up for monthly instalments which is also a bonus to spread out payments.

I can't thank Thistle Vets enough for the outstanding care my cats received. Friendly staff and fantastic cheery vets who keep you well informed. The practice genuinely cares about you and your pet and their service is second to none. Thanks James for all the help and support you gave me over the past 3 months. Great place, from reception to seeing Donald, first class all the way and even got a cup of tea whilst waiting!

Deano loves to visit his friends at Thistle Vets. They are awesome and they have helped get his epilepsy under control with ZERO seizures for almost 2 years now !! I would defo recommend them to anyone who has furbabies in their life.

CanŌĆÖt thank Donald and the team enough for how theyŌĆÖve helped my little Border Terrier, we are so grateful that we now have a happier doggy!

Absolutely no compassion with my cat. Might as well have been a piece of machinery. Never got an assistant in. Always expected me to hold her and refused to continue with examination because my cat became agitated. Dreadful.
