A chance for Scottish students to study at a Japanese uni. Closing date for 2019 scholarship is Friday 23 November 2018.

The scholarship is a charitable fund which enables Scottish students to study at a Japanese university. Initiated by the Japan Society of Scotland and supported by Aberdeen Standard Investments, the scholarship is open to young Scots who are at a post-secondary educational level. The winning scholar will learn all aspects of Japanese language and culture from the Japanese writing systems to the traditional Japanese tea ceremony. Applications are particularly sought from young Scots who have a business focus in their interest in Japan.
