Admittedly I had left it a bit late to order currency for my upcoming holiday (four days).
I ordered Romanian Lue and was told I could collect the next afternoon.
The lady I spoke to had a very good phone manner and was very understanding of my urgency.

Luckily I phoned to check it arrived before driving through rush hour traffic - My order was never placed and there was no record of it.
No one from the previous day was in store, this lady I spoke to was serving someone over the till while speaking to me on the phone, making for a very disjointed conversation.

This currency is proving very difficult to get hold of before my flight in a couple of days so understandably I'm disappointed.

Thomas Cooks exchange rates are normally quite good from my experience - Give yourself plenty of time before your flight to order currency (and maybe have a backup plan).
