Thorabella Farm Description
Thorabella farm.
We started our farm to be self sufficient as we wanted to know where all our meat came from. This soon grew arms and legs and now we an array of animals ranging from tiny fluffy chics to magnificent water buffalo.
We purchased our farm (Blackmyre) in July 2017 and although we've only been here a short while we have an eclectic selection of animals amidst our forty seven acre smallholding.
We wanted other people to appreciate the benefits of home grown produce so we are starting to supply our meat to friends, family and beyond!
If you are interested in our meat produce or what we do at our farm don't hesitate to contact us. We will have available: Buffalo, lamb, pork and goat meat. When we have meat available we will advertise and you can pre order your meat packs which can be delivered locally.
Price list will follow shortly - in the meantime please contact us for prices.

THORABELLA PORTABLE VAN SHOP IN MORAY!
*edited
Ok everyone- planning our portable van shop route. Listed below are the places we are potentially visiting once a month to start. ... We will have our own meat as well as friends of Thorabella who farm locally produced meats and veg so that there is a variety for our customers.
🐃week 1 - Cullen, Buckie, Fochabers, Lhanbryde 🐃week 2 - Burghead, Lossiemouth, Elgin 🐃week 3 - Findhorn, Kinloss, Forres 🐃week 4 - Keith
Areas are extremely rough and were for more of an indication of direction we are going to on that week. We are looking for customer participation. We would NEVER park in front of other small business’ as that would be totally against everything we stand for as a small business ourselves. Potential areas added already are Miltonduff, Rafford, Garmouth, Port Gordon, Craigellachie and Alves.
We are looking for areas or surrounding town/villages which are suitable to stop in for us and where you would like us to stop. Will stay in the spot for 30 mins or so. We have a street traders license so can only stop on streets and not private owned car parks. Please comment below all suggestions.
Please share this wide and far as the portable farm shop won’t work unless people know we are there. We are hoping to start this in summer time but an update will be given when we know more. Thanks everyone.
Partially funded by moray leader funding which is helping us purchase the van and a website soon going live
Please please comment and share 💪🏻

Bit of a dusting here today- all animals have hay and straw and the outside beasties have some haylage to keep them busy!
