Nice staff but beware room 6 twin beds share the same mattress. Food good.

Relaxing atmosphere, interesting local photos on walls, excellent menu and quality meals served well at reasonable prices. Local produce means fresh tasty dining.

When walking in thornhill inn it smelt like everyone in the pub was smoking, we walked through to the restaurant and the staff were helpful.
Starter was lovely but the main was absolutely awful, hunters chicken which was a dry slab of chicken with burnt cheap bacon and what Seemed to be a bit of dairlylea cheese stacked on top!! And frozen oven chips not the traditional pub chips you would expect.. this was £14 and it didn't even come with peas or any veg literally a slab of dry chicken and chips !! No BBQ sauce which makes the hunters chicken. We had a meal just down the road which was amazing and we actually paid more with money off our bill because of the appauling food at this place. I really wish I had not eaten the meal and just sent it back but I was in shock and hungry I just ate half it.
I definitely would never ever recommend thornhill inn and will definitely be listening to the over reviews on trip advisor next time !!

The staff are so lovely and welcoming, we'd booked for two but had a couple join us later on and the inn sorted out a table with no bother even though they were busy. The food was amazing and hunters chicken is recommended! The drinks are well priced and the bar and restaurant are both welcoming.

For price meal was poor. Scampie came with some chips not even a bit of veg on the plate.

A nice wee local had a few meals in here would recommend to my friends and family!

Poor service, long waits and poor food for the cost.

Great food and lovely atmosphere, the service wasn't great when we went in, but as it got busier it improved. All in all, a really nice meal.
