THS CHOIR: The choir took part in a workshop today with Miss Kara Grey from UHI for their Vocal & Ensemble Singing Level 6 Certificate.
In May, they will travel to Fearn Abbey, Ross-shire, to take part in the Chariots of Choir competition against other choirs from the region. They will also be recorded by students of the Sound Engineering Department at UHI. The winners of the competition will get a free session in a recording studio to record their performance again.

If you are able to donate baking, wine or anything for our raffle please hand in to reception or get in touch and a member of the PTA can pick it up. Thank you.

BERLIN: Day 2 of the S6 Berlin trip saw another busy day taking in the many sights of Berlin. Pupils visited the East Side Gallery part of the Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, Topography of Terror, Alexanderplatz, Spy museum and the Berlin Mall. Despite using the excellent transport provision pupils walked for miles - many covering 25,000 steps.

BERLIN: S6 pupils are currently enjoying a trip to Berlin. Despite an overnight bus journey from Thurso and an early morning flight the group showed real endurance in exploring for a full day. Places visited were the Reichstag, Memorial to Murdered Jews, Brandenburg Gate, DDR museum and International Food Market.

NETBALL: The S3 and senior netball teams have been busy competing in the Scottish cup. The S3 team travelled to St George’s School for Girls in Edinburgh where they came up against tough opposition and were unfortunately knocked out of the competition. The senior netball team travelled to Holyrood Secondary school in Glasgow. Again the girls had a tough day up against the largest secondary school in Scotland. The girls worked hard throughout the match, however they were knocked out of the competition. Both teams have done extremely well to get as far as they have in the competition and both teams have worked hard throughout the year.

Sixth year Prefects helping at the S3 Parents' Evening last night and showing off their new Prefect hoodies! The attendance at the last few Parents' Evenings has increased hugely since the introduction of the electronic booking system; thanks to Office Staff for their hard work getting this all set up. It is great to see so many there as these teacher/parent conversations are very important in supporting our pupils' progress.
