Welcome to Tin-Can Telephone Literary Agency. We love books, we love great writers, great publishers and we particularly love readers. We're not your typical traditional literary agency, who you can access if you're really lucky. We believe in community and communication. We like to do things a bit differently, by bringing aspiring writers and great readers together, because a book that's not read is one of the saddest things we can think of. We know books and appreciating the best in literature, as well as knowing what it takes to write for a commercial market. We also have the expertise to extend great writing into television and film. Not everyone is ready to be a bestselling author, but there may be many who are on a journey there. We have a good deal of experience in nurturing and guiding authors, and our community will be on hand to help aspiring writers hone their craft, until they're ready to publish. Books can change the world, and we want to change the world. Great stories can give readers a glimpse into other worlds and other lives. Nothing is as powerful as the human imagination fired by a story. Our interests in books are not defined by genres, but by the power of the story told and if they can shine a light on some hidden corner of human experience. It could be fiction, non-fiction, crime, historical, literary, sci-fi or humour - if it's written from the heart then we'd like to see it.
