favourite tapas restaurant ever gorgeous atmosphere, cocktails and food.

User

excellent service, fabulous food and a great choice of dishes, lovely atmosphere with traditional decor

User

Went for the 1st time Saturday late afternoon tapas for £2.50. Amazing food especially the calamari and drinks were great too. We had sangria and a margarita. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Will definitely be back.

User

We went for dinner on Saturday for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. Each dish was tastier than the previous one. My favourite had to be the Mussels in Paprika Sauce but it wouldn’t matter what you chose, you will love it. We will definitely be returning again soon.

User

Was meeting some old friends for a good catch-up and ate so much :) food was delicious but I must admit the octopus was pretty awful. Overall amazing night can't wait too go back!

User

My husband booked this for Birthday!! Food was ok just very over priced, I had to keep calling on a waitress for a drink as sitting for over 20 mins without a drink also we order 2 x tinto's tablet dessert @ £5.90 each and so disappointed as we had no more that half a cup about 3 spoon fulls. All in all the only thing good was leaving the restaurant...

User

Great food and really nice staff. Milo very attentive, Lori and Ami making sure everything was fine. Was told we'd have a 40 min wait for food but it came within 20 mins of ordering, on what was a busy night.

User

Food was really good, service was very good. Would go back again

User

Went last night for dinner as it was my wife's birthday. Food was excellent and service was too. Great choice on the menu and the Sangria was delicious...great taste of Spain in the heart of Hamilton.. Will definitely be back..

User

The first time we visited we couldn't fault the place. Best place we have eaten in a while. Second visit wasn't quite as good, food wasn't as tasty as our first visit but possibly a different chef on? staff were so friendly and attentive. Would still go back as food was still good and value for money x

User

I actually thought all the food we got was really nice, we ordered 10 tapas dishes & then 2 desserts between 2 of us, Which sounds loads but the portions for me are quite small compared to many other tapas I have been too. That’s my only negative is that small portions and roughly £4.50/£5.50 for 1 unless u get it on a deal. I will Defo b back to try more on the Tuesday tapas deal. We also had the jug of wine which was delicious and our waitress was nice. I guess sometimes people only write reviews when they have a bad experience.

User

We were there for lunch yesterday! We ordered 3 Tapas each! Nothing to write home about and even at 2.50 per dish its over priced for what you get! Dont get the chicken in paprika batter its basically mouthfuls of tasteless fat! As i say its okay but better off going to McDonalds

User

My friend and I decided to book a table after previously enjoying a visit at you Uddingston restaurant, I have to say we were very disappointed. The food was delicious but service was very slow we waited a long time for our food. When our mains dishes were taken away we asked for the dessert menu which we then quite some time later had to ask for again. My friend ordered the fruit cheesecake but got butterscotch instead and asked for it to be changed to something else eventually asking for fruit salad as an alternative which again was very slow in arriving. The service from the bar for drinks was also very slow. At the end of the night all the staff seemed to have finished and we kept trying to get the attention of the male member of staff standing behind the bar to get our bill who was to busy chatting. Eventually we got ready and approached him paying our bill on the way out. Not sure I would return again

User

It’s a shame as this had the potential for a nice early valentines meal. We waited about an hour from walking through the door to getting our food even thought it wasn’t that busy which was a real let down. The food itself was good and excellent value for the £2.50 but we were hesitant to order dessert or more tapas simply because of the wait.

We would consider going back but only if we knew the service had picked up.

User

Food was ok but service was awful. An hour for a bread basket and a drinks round! Was planning to pay by card at the end, waitress approached to say they weren't taking card payments adding 'I mean, there is a big sign on the door' (with an attitude). A leaving customer kindly held the door open for us when we arrived so we didn't see any sign. We got a taxi to bank and back to pay. These things happen, machines will fail but i really wasn't impressed with the attitude. The waiter was friendly and the strawberry daiquiri was the best I've tasted when it finally arrived but the slow service and attitude of the waitress wasted the night.

User

What a shame. Re heated food, frozen prawns, chewy calimari and the worst rabbit iv ever eaten - it tasted microwaved as was overly hot & bland. Would not recommend or return. £85 wasted!

User

Went to Tinto last night (29/12) for our anniversary meal. We chose Tinto this year as we liked the look of the menu and was close to home. We had booked a few weeks ago and had been looking forward to it. On arrival we were seated quickly but unfortunately nothing else happened quickly. There were 4 tables of 2 and 2 larger parties of 5 or 6 in when we arrived. We waited 15 minutes before our drinks order was taken and another 15 before our food order was taken this was due to only 2 staff being on to cover tables and the bar. We ordered mixed breads which should come with oils and dip and 6 other tapas. The 6 tapas came first and we then had to ask where our mixed bread was, the waitress quickly appeared with a basket of 3 slice of white and 3 slice of brown bread from your average loaf of bread, and no oils or dips!! Very disappointing! Our tapas were also disappointing in quality and quantity 4 prawns, 2 bland meatballs, 7 thin slices of chorizo (we were sharing this one hence knowing the exact number!) 2 skewers of tasteless chicken and peppers. I wasn't impressed with any of them. We then asked for a pint of lager and a glass of still water........ we got a pint of still water....... no lager! Although we were charged for the pint of lager and a sparkling water which was removed from the bill when we queried it! We paid the bill in cash at our table which the waitress took and then didn't return with our change which we felt was cheeky as we would normally then leave a tip at the table! We left feeling very disappointed and not intending to return!

User

We waited 80 minutes for food to arrive, some items not available and a few didn’t arrive, waiter announced he was too busy to get us paper to write our order, sat waiting for ages on drinks and my husband has been sick since 230am and still in bed after being the only one to eat the fish cakes, the management that were on last night were a joke. We’re also advised we couldn’t use a voucher we had been given. Our first time going to visit and will certainly not be back. Avoid . The only plus was a member of staff called Amy, great friendly girl.

User

Very disappointed, and can confidently say won't be returning. Both service and food were poor. Waited and waited for drinks. Same with our food, when it finally arrived it was served to another table! And table next to us was served the wrong twice! Quality of food was well below our expectations. The icing on the cake was the managers response to our feedback - 'sorry it's been a busy night'. Well it's goodbye Hamilton and back to Tinto Uddingston and Tinto Battlefield where we've always had great service and great food.
