Here are the results of a recent report showing....
Just how long it takes on average, for the sale of on market property in Glasgow, over the last 12 months.
A reduction by 10 days has been concluded for detached properties...
... Flats by 2 weeks...
However, the biggest reduction goes to terrace houses, now on average taking 75 days for a sold sign to materialise.

Yesterday I posted about the increase to default contributions for UK workplace pensions, coming into play as of 6th April ’19.
I also mentioned it was last reported that 73% of all UK employee’s had an active workplace pension scheme in 2018.
But what about all of those UK employees who have chosen to opt out of their company workplace pension scheme?
... What do they intend to do when retirement age is reached?
Let’s be realistic here, even if the state pension is still around nearer the time…
It is unlikely to meet your required needs.
If you fall into this category, what do you intend to do?
Personally I believe and know that there are better, quicker, faster ways of generating a higher return, that beat pensions hands down.
Property is most certainly one of them…

Minimum contributions for UK workplace pensions to increase as of this month…
Auto enrolment, a Government initiative was brought into force in October 2012. Why?
To help more people save for later in life, through a pension scheme at work.
... It was last reported that 73% of all UK employee’s had an active workplace pension scheme in 2018.
This was up from the 47% reported to have climbed on board to this way of saving in 2012.
New rates are set to increase as of 6th April ’19 with total minimum contributions now rising to 8%.
Up until now, there have been rave reviews by the pensions industry that auto enrolment has been a big success.
However, could this be due to default contributions being so tiny?
I believe the real test has just arrived now that employee contributions are changing to 5% this month.
