A friendly wee café with a good selection of homemade bakes. Friendly service and Wi-Fi available too. Supplies the Ardnamurchan Lighthouse tea-room as well - their range of cakes are not to be missed!
Enjoyed a salted caramel latte here today. Also bought a delicious breakfast bar - yummy. Great atmosphere and good food. Perfect place to meet friends.
Contrary to all of the kind folks we have met along the way, the service at this cafe was really offputting and rude. The food was standard. This place merits two stars because of its convenient location. Overall, cannot recommend.
Visited here today with our family and we went in the other day and saw that the cakes looked very nice. But today we visited and it was raining we waited for a seat as people were just staying inside and not actually eating or drinking anything.
So after our long wait we got 4 cakes (2 paradise slice, carrot cake and chocolate eclair) the chocolate eclair was frozen, the carrot cake was very sickly with about an inch of ice if on the top and the paradise slice had to much sugar and was extremely sickly.
Was quite expensive having to pay 50p more per cake if eating in.
The only thing we enjoyed were the cup of teas.
Will not be visiting again.
Lovely hot food to grab on the go. Everything in the cabinet looked delicious, so we are going back in the morning!
My wife and I go to this bakery every day. It is an evil place where there is no escape! I give this place my highest recommendation!
We were cheated!! A group of 4 patronised Tobermory Bakery & Tea Room for tea yesterday... when we asked for Scottish scones, we were told by the counter serving staff that the scones were on sale at 30p each & the board had wrotten £1.85 for a cup of herbal tea. We were shown a table and ee ordered 4 sets of a scone & a herbal tea each... but the bill came up to £12! When asked, the waitress claimed that the scones now cost 80p each! Even then the sums do not add up!! When we clarifief, we were just told that it was £3 eachl!! It's just daylight robbery and lack of honesty!!!
Perhaps Scottish standard of Mathematics is really weak or perhaps these Scottish gals think that Asians can't count ...or.....
Such an experience left a real BAD taste in the mouth indeed!!
So whoever visit this bakery in future must check & recheck their prices and their bills really really thoroughly!
Best brekkie by far. Stunning food with good old fashioned service
