A garden is a living space, and often what people want from the garden evolves and shifts over time. This was the second phase in this garden. After building the decking in the first phase, the owner called us in to give the rest of the back garden a neaten up. His growing kids were also after space to play in. So we change the slabs, bulit some new planters and extended the play area.
... The owner now has more space for entertaining, as well as an area for the kids to play.
Next we'll move to the front garden to do a planter and fence.

Many flat gardens around Edinburgh can get a little neglected. They're often small spaces, so it's hard to know what to do with them.
... For this job, the owner wanted to create a very easy and low maintenance garden space for a rental property. So we added a fence to give the front windows privacy, while still letting light in. In the back we re-cemented the wall and cornered it off, giving the tenants a bit of space that felt like their own.

Working out in Balerno was a nice change for this job.
... This was a great sized garden. The deck just needed a bit of love; with a few bits that were rotting and getting difficult to walk on.
Using the great space available, we created a large single area with one step down from the door, giving our customer a large space to entertain.

Barnton Park Avenue Driveway
Combining old with new can be a challenge, but it's a challenge we love!
... For this project, we were working with a driveway that had been extended from the original brickwork, using chipping stones. To complete the driveway extension in brickwork, we needed to get creatve. We did an even cut, fixing the old blocks where needed. The end result was a fully brickworked driveway with a neat line, combing old and new.

Curriehill Road - Miller Homes Wooden Decking
We're always up for a summer garden party, and so was this client! We had a deadline to meet with this project, getting the garden looking it's best for a summer party in August.
... We were working with a stone wall that had already been built. We framed it up and decked the area. We finished it off with a large top hand rail with steel wire inserts. This meant the guests could enjoy the open feel of the deck, and stay safe at the party.

Liberton Brae Composite Decking
This job was great fun!
... The client had a small slabbed area, that dropped off around the sides. We created a composite deck, with sleeper walls & sides. We finished it off by taking it all the way around the conservatory, to make it one platform. On top we dug out all the old plants along the wall and put in an edging to make it into a bed that could be easily maintained. It also meant we could plant grass seeds - for a garden that could be enjoyed any time of year Edinburgh weather dependent!

Ashley Drive Driveway
We love helping our customers give their front of house a little face lift. We put down a new driveway, using Trident pavement blocks, to give their driveway a more unique look. They’re also going to last longer. The end result was a lovely new driveway big enough to fit their two cars. The Steils: This project has been one of our favourites. The customer came to us because they had a little slice of outdoor area; whilst it had a lot of potential, they weren’t sure how to use it. In it’s current form it just wasn’t practical, or suiting their needs (for the days the sun does come out!)
We’d worked with these guys about a year earlier on another project. By the time we came back for this project, they had really clear inspiration for what they wanted to make ...this area more usable.
We moved the hedges out, giving the areas some more space and an easier path through; joining it to their barbecue area. With the client, we chose flat paving stones with nice clean edges, to give the area a modern look and a new lease on life!

Colinton - This project was to give them some usable space by levelling sections of the hill alongside their house as well as give them somewhere to put their wendy house. Here you can see the before and after photos of each section of the overall job.

This is an artificial grass job we did last year. The client wanted us to clean up the lawn and make it into a useable garden. A short grass was chosen due to the client having a dog.

SLABS! New slabs for a new shed; the idea was to open up the pathway a bit and create a more even/level surface for the new shed to sit on.

Here is a new driveway job we have completed. In this we removed all existing materials and made it into one large driveway. We also added in some new steps to walk down into the garden.

This was a 2 phase job over summer 2016 & 2017. First part, last year, we levelled out the back yard and laid some fresh turf. As a continuation, this year we were asked to build 2 fences around the back edge and between the neighbours. Please like and share guys. Much appreciated!

A nice wee job near Newington area. We moved the fence about a foot out to increase the garden area. As you can see, the back was never finished so we extended it to the wall. Also in the top corner we were asked to remove the tree. Please like and share! Thanks guys

This was a wee job in Craiglockhart. It was great fun to do as you can see, some drastic changes to the appearance! The driveway was extended by over a metre in width and levelled out. The middle path was not getting used, so we removed it. Round the sides, the old trees were taken out and we replaced them with a sleeper bed and something more colourful. The old concrete steps were then removed and replaced with wider slabbed steps. The old pathways were then levelled and filled with red gravel, The back garden also needed an extension on the slabbing area as the pictures show. Please like and share!

Hey guys, our latest job: a wee garden in town. Needed to level off the ground and constructed some planter beds made from sleepers. Afterwards, an artificial lawn was installed. All went well despite the ten foot wall!

Mike and Rob stripped out my highly weed-ridden back garden, fully rotovated it and laid a fresh new lawn. They completed the job within a day with courtesy and care. The lawn is fantastic and is taking root well! Great job, highly recommended.

The idea was to make the garden safe for our young family and to improve its appearance. Both of these guys worked extremely hard and produced an outstanding result. They worked to ensure that the job completed on time and at a fair price. They continued to communicate as the job was done and sought my opinion on key decisions. I will be using them for any other landscaping work or driveway that we need in future. I really cannot recommend these guys enough. Excellent service.
