From Scotland's wild northern shore, where Britain's first spaceport is planned, to the team planning Britain's new rocket system, the programme explores the technology behind a quiet revolution in Britain's space industry. Driving the resurgence of 'space Britannia' is a new breed of spacecraft - micro-satellites. Our Fabulous Team Tongue 2018!!

User

Wonderful from check in to check out. Staff were very welcoming nothing was too much trouble. Room was beautiful and very comfortable. The food was delicious and they had a good choice of gin so I was happy. I would definitely recommend and hope to get back sometime soon.

User

What a wonderful holiday we had! This hotel offers the whole package - great hospitality, staff, rooms, views, food and of course Northern Light from the tab!! Already looking forward to our next stay. Thank you! :)

User

We arrived last Sunday , thinking we just needed a beer and to use the wifi. We were in our outdoor attire and looking very windswept, so headed for the bar. The lady who greeted us ( apologies for not knowing your name) was very welcoming and delivered us lovely Orkney beers. By this stage the smell off loveliness lured us into ordering food .

Oh my! The starters of ham hock and a trio of salmon were fabulous! The ham hock was especially devine, but both were devoured in seconds.

Next to arrive, Langoustines and Mussels . We were both consuming from each other's plates , ignoring etiquette and the look of I'm sure "envy" from the other diners! Again the lovely lady asked us if our meals were okay, only we replied with sounds of sheer sublimeness !

I would recommend a visit ,even just for the beer, but the food and service we could not fault . ( and the wifi was very speedy ) Again when aswe were leaving , the lovely lady recommended some local spots to visit ,on our continuing journey east . Worth a visit!

User

Very helpful and friendly staff, and classy all the way. And yet, I was dressed pretty casually as I'm on a motorcycle tour (yoga pants and athletic top) but they did not make me feel diminished, and treated me as though I was dressed in an evening gown. Will definitely stay again if given the opportunity!

User

The lady on reception was amazing, I had missed final orders for food and the chefs had left but this woman went into the kitchen and 20mins later presented me with haddock and chips which tasted fantastic. Not only that they fixed me up with a last minute room and tasty breakfast the following morning.

I would def stay here again

User

The hotel was lovely, the service was exceptional. David and Russell were friendly, professional, and welcoming when we stayed there. Make it your destination and you'll be glad you did.
