I don't think that I can recall a decision made by Dumfries Council that has angered so many people of all ages and all walks of life. My news feed on Facebook was so full of comments regarding their decision to approve their plans to create Earth Bunds obscuring our River Nith and getting rid of our car parking that I thought a group to vent our feelings was a good idea. I certainly did not expect over 2500 members in such a short time. This is despite being handed a petitio...n that had over 6000 signatures against it. Now we have an online petition which; incidentally; has had a bigger response already than the Council's online version of their public engagement survey!
