A few colleagues are out at NACE Automechanika in Chicago currently. Here's Steve our MD with the team from Huth Ben Pearson International who build & supply our best-in-the-industry exhaust tube bending machines.

Today's custom built exhaust on a PEUGEOT 206 D TURBO HDI 2003
Customer wanted a louder, sportier exhaust in stainless steel including sports cat. Job was done in two hours flat including all hangers, flanges etc. as we had plenty of room to work with. We used a TIG welded mandrel bend to get over the bar at the back of the system and ran the exhaust in 2.5 inch as requested.
We've had a cancellation tomorrow afternoon so have an immediate slot at 2PM, prepared to give a disc...ount for the last minute slot!

Today's custom built exhaust on a LEXUS IS 220D Sport 2007
The customer requested some extra noise from his diesel in stainless steel, sporty but not obnoxious. We removed the restrictive catalytic converters in place and ran a straight through pipe from the DPF back, replacing almost the entire length of the exhaust and using a small single resonator.
Ordinarily this exhaust is single exit, however we were happy to accommodate the customer's wishes and we converted it into a... twin exit for him with a Y Piece, using our 4 Inch outlet Tokyo Cruise burnt tip tailpipes and cutting the bumper for the job. Burnt tips are extremely fashionable in 2017 and while we had almost no requests for burnt tips last year we are inundated with them this summer.
Sadly although we took over 40 photo's this slideshow can only accommodate ten of them. However it should nevertheless give a brief indication of the build process.

Was very kindly given a free remapp that was won from Wessex fm. All the staff were really helpful and my car is a lot more fun to drive now! Would reccomend them to anyone! Thank you

Top workmanship and really know what they are talking about. Had a custom exhaust to delete 2 silencers. Great advice given on the best way to do it and for a reasonable price. Car sounds mint now!

These boys properly got me out of a muddle today and it was after hours thank you very much again excellent service .

Service from start to finish was faultless. Would certainly recommend to anyone. Very friendly service over the phone - explaining things clearly, and communicating throughout. Prompt in all areas. Came and collected and then dropped off the car from home, at my convenience. Were competitively priced and showed no worries when I said I'm getting two other quotes. Used them over and above a local to home company, who wouldn't even price match these guys. Will definitely use them in the future.

Just wanted to thank Topgear Bridport (especially Luke) for the new valvetronic 'catless' exhaust fitted to my Audi R8 V10. Brings the sound of the car 'alive' - love it and should have done it ages ago. Very professional company, great price and technical knowledge. Any other R8 owners, V8 or V10, out there looking for a new exhaust should seriously consider Topgear, you will not be disappointed !! Lastly, hope you enjoyed the passenger ride in the car Jenny and thanks for your help with the coffee machine.

Just got an exhaust done, even though I didn't see what I was getting and was done over the phone, they managed to get it spot on and I'm very pleased with it.

Hey guys just got done my powerflow exhaust on my E46 330 and it was stunning..LOUD and absolutely awesome!!! My husband's truck and exhaust was so great I shared a little tear for making me emotional how awesome it sounds. You made it sound a proper Monster Truck!!! Thanks for you time and work, and for the giggle we had while there too!!

Had a catback exhaust fitted on my Astra it sounds incredible, service was great all fitted in a day cheers guys!

Great service, continuous communication through the fab work and great bunch of guys, helped me with a few related issues giving me advice as well.

Was there for about 2and half hours but the lounge area was great, with free hot drinks, WiFi, and plenty of stuff to read.

Full exhaust done and I couldn't be more happy with it, sounds great and everything was custom made to my requirements.

All in all, couldn't recommend enough.

Good bunch of people, excellent communication both over email before arriving and in person on arrival. I talked through what I wanted with the fabricator and showed him a few pictures. He cracked on with it, showing me at a few stages the sound and where the tailpipe would sit and checking I was happy.



The waiting room had a few comfortable sofas, complimentary tea/coffee machine and tv and free wifi.



When it was finished the car sounds and looks great after having the standard backbox on my car replaced with 2 smaller ones. My 370z now sounds like a proper V6 without being over the top or droney.

Fantastic service from Top Gear, they collected my car from miles away, made the necessary repairs and Paul even picked me up to collect car when finished, plus they even repaired a dent with no extra charge!! Top lads

Fantastic service and at a reasonable price too, we put our car in for a clutch, they initially had a few issues with the parts supplied but gave us a loan car for the unexpected delay and went above and beyond to help out including working extra hours to get the job done, there workshop and customer waiting area was also very well presented and welcoming, Thank you guys!

Reading other comments, I can only speak as I find..Popped in on Saturday to get tyre pressures checked as usual, only to find I had 2 bad tyres, booked in straightaway for Monday, new tyres and tracking done, good price, friendly service, can't complain.

Topgear ordered two tyres for me, they asked me to come in (20 mls.away) at 11.00 am on thurs.9th Nov.for fitting.

I took the car down to them and caught the bus into Bridport, then they rang me to say they did not have my tyres. They promised to ring me as soon as they had arrived.

That is the last I have heard from them, despite twice ringing during working hours and leaving messages ! (21/11/2017)

Do not let them touch your car had my car bmw 535d remapped by them and all they have done is up the fuel by 10% across rev rage what is crazy think to do and now fucked my engine a year down the lane ���

Beware. pricing incorrect and very poor service!...

Placed an order and paid for 4 alloy wheels online only to be contacted the next day to be informed that the price on the website was in fact incorrect and had to pay an additional fee! (what kind of company is this?)

I then had to constantly phone them to chase the order as it failed to turn up as stated on each day, wasted 4 days off work waiting for a delivery that didn't turn up, and staff failed to return calls on numerous occasions.

The customer service was quite simply shocking, very poor communication, i did eventually get my wheels after over a week (not the 2-3 day delivery as promised) and after all the hassle and extra cost were not even the correct offset i had ordered!

Just gave up in the end, not prepared to waste any more of my time trying to swap them as its too mush like hard work dealing with these guys!...

Been waiting for prices, specifications and pictures on a staggered set of 18s or 17s for a 320d tourer. My messages have been read just no reply. Really poor customer service. Surprised they even make a sale. Off to shop else where!!! Customer relation skills needed serious improvement!!!!
