I trained at Telford College in Edinburgh. Lived and worked in Edinburgh for a few years before returning home to Shetland.
Always enjoyed doing hair since I was a child, spent most of my hours doing dolls hair, then friends hair at school in break time.
I said I would do hairdressing until I could decided what I wanted to be. (maybe I was just meant to do hair) I have tried many things but still enjoy hairdressing the most.
Looks like the hairdressing idea was a good one. I was playing between that or being a dj, life may have been so very different!
Having run my own salon and been self employed /employed over the years I thought I would set up a room at home, to allow myself more varied working hours.
Best thing I ever did! Brought back the enjoyment of hairdressing in a relaxed environment, where I can have the freedom to choose my working hours /schedule.
