Make your weekend extra spicy with some Jalapeno Poppers! 🤤🔥🌶

While you just can't beat the fantastic atmosphere and gorgeous cocktails in the restaurant, I'm delighted that we can now order our favourite Mexican food to enjoy at home when we can't go out. A minor ordering teething problem was dealt with swiftly and efficiently by Craig, the Assistant Manager, and half an hour later we were tucking into our Queso Fundido, and to-die-for quesadillas and other delights. Happy Days.

Went for a family dinner, table for 8 people, shown to our table, drinks order done, explained that it's tapas style menu and the differences between the street food, classics and big boys.



Drinks were excellent (mostly cocktails), as was the food, very quick, all orders were correct (with a mix of vegetarians and meat eaters in the group).



Have to say this is one of the better restaurants in Aberdeen, with very friendly staff (particularly Sam) great ambience and exceptional freshly prepared food, keep it up guys :-)

We at here 1/10/17 and it is absolutely brilliant. The staff were very friendly and quick, the food was gorgeous (they recommended 2-3 of the small plates and for two of us we squeezed in 7 plates total as had to order same thing twice as so good) and the frozen margaritas were really tasty! Highly recommend this venue! �

Our first time at Topalabamba with my partner Lee Williamson , didn't know what to expect, we were out for a meal for my birthday, and wanted to try something different.

The girl that served us was so friendly and informative. The food was full of flavour and delicious.

I ordered a watermelon margarita which was also delicious.

We will definitely go back and also recommend to family and friends.

My second visit with my girls and as everyone else is saying , enjoyed our time together!! Food was brilliant , coming from UAE where we are spoilt for choice , this gives me a relief that I know I can pop in any time if I feel like some Mexican food , what more, the chicken they source is halal �.

Loved it! The food was excellent, I can't begin to describe it, you just have to try it. Atmosphere was good, would have been better if the music was quieter and we didn't have to shout to be heard. Service was excellent, Kirsty, couldn't have been more helpful, genuine and pleasant. Thank you for the recommendations, they were spot on. Most definitely comining back for more.

Joanna was such great service tonight :-) so personable and friendly!!! Incredible food as always (and so quick, props to the whole kitchen team) and the closest we'll get to Mexico City food in Aberdeen, a very welcome addition! PS - please never dilute the frozen margaritas, they are perfection! :-)

Had a great night here lastnight.. actually couldn't fault anything to be honest! Food and cocktails were great and server Giannis was really friendly and helpful on telling us portion sizes and what was popular.. definitely will be back..

Great atmosphere and amazing food. Staff are friendly and accommodating. If you are unsure what to order they will take the time to recommend dishes for you.

First time here lastnight food was amazing and came so quick and the pina colada was the best I’ve ever had I will definitely go back

Excellent atmosphere, quality service. The food was fantastic and superb variety. Ideal place for food and drink with friends before hitting the bars. Definitely recommend.

Everything was amazing. The staff is very nice, food is delicious and music is perfect. Highly recommended. Visited for the first time and will be back soon.

Am not long back from my 3rd and best visit so far - the food was great and the staff were super attentive (special mention in particular to Graeme and the kitchen staff). Our waiter even took the trouble to ask how we'd like our steak cooked even though it was listed as "medium only" on the menu - a small detail but greatly appreciated. We'll be back soon!

While the food is fantastic, I have been 4 times and the service was poor on all occasions. On each visit the restaurant has been about a quarter full, if that, however it was always a struggle to get the attention of staff and we almost felt forgotten about. Once the food and drinks etc is eventually ordered it comes extremely quick to the table and is always piping hot and fresh! Fantastic frozen margaritas too.

The food (non meat) was excellent, the margaritas were the best I have had. It is let down by serving halal meat. Halal is certainly not native to Mexico & not to Scotland either so no idea why they are choosing to serve meat slaughtered in such a barbaric manner.

First time here, loved the street food option, had three dishes each, staff were friendly really good at explaining the menu especially as it was our first visit. Definitely be back!

Amazing atmosphere,service and cocktails. However I appreciate it's Mexican cuisine but the food was really too spicy,to the point of burning hot. I'm used to spicy food being from the Caribbean and it was too intense for my palette.I never had spice I'm a Caesar salad before! Customers should be given an option on the extent or variation of heat in dishes.
