I was looking for a reliable car for commuting a fair distance, and had visited a number of other garages in the area. I chose my car from TVS and Mark was more than patient with the mountain of queries and questions I had, which as a first time buyer was really important to me.

This wee guy is as funny as a clown. We went to buy a car, but walked away laughing after he had a 'hissy fit' because the battery was flat and we asked him to take £50 off the asking price. £50 and he spat the dummy. We're still laughing about it now.

Seriously though, I'm not sure this wee guy is as good as he thinks he is. A touch deluded at best. No customer skills. Maybe best avoiding. I'm sure he'll get over himself one day.

He then called and threatened to "come pay us a visit" for leaving a poor review. The matter has been reported to the police.

I just recently purchased my third car from TVS, as always I am impressed, this time i bought a civic to use for commuting to work and it does exactly what I’m after. Any minor issues I’ve had after purchasing previous cars have been sorted quickly and with ease by their workshop. Will no doubt be back for my fourth car at something.

Bought a van from here to transport my dogs to shows, not knowing anything about cars or vans this was a daunting experience for myself, however Gez and Mark made me feel completely at ease. Van was cleaner than tidier than I expected! Had it over a month now and although the size has taken some getting used to for me I am very impressed! Keep it up guys!

Be very careful buying from here. Check that every warning light comes on and then goes out when you turn the ignition key, as they had taken apart the dashboard and put black tape over the bulbs in a car they sold me.
Also check the tyres very carefully as they were re-treaded but not marked as such, which is illegal.

The AA dealer promise counts for nothing - all they do is give you advice which you'd be better getting from Citizens Advice / Trading Standards.

The other reviews are fake and written by the company themselves. "Mark Grimley" even used his own name in one review where he awarded himself five stars - it's his company!

Great friendly service, cars are well prepared before sale both mechanically and cosmetically. Anything the car needs it gets. I wouldn't hesitate to buy a car from here again.

Chose TVS for company car purchase in January and have no regrets. Just been back to get serviced and car is back running like it was when it rolled off the forecourt. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again. Cheers:- Martín @RS_Scotland

Would Highly recommend, I would give 6 stars if I could! If you are looking at a car this dealership has, I would definitely go and view it in person. Mark is a really genuine guy and he put me at ease with the whole buying process and helped me finance my car. The car was exactly how it was described online, in fact it looked even better. Mark was more than happy to let me test drive the car and answer any and all of my questions.

This dealership will go out of their way to make you happy, for example, I live in fife and the car got delivered the very next day and even took away my old car.

I have no doubt in my mind that if something (god forbid) goes wrong with my car, they'll be happy to have a look and help out where they can.

Update: I've had my car for a few months now and everything has gone great. A hole developed in the backbox of the exhaust, this could have been a quick patch up but mark replaced the whole exhaust system for me. Above and beyond service!

Buying a cheap car is very risky for someone without mechanical knowledge, like me, so I was very pleased to find Mark to be an honest and straightforward guy to deal with. I've dealt with a lot of used car salesmen but Mark was better than all of them. There was no pushing or endless sales jabber, just honest help and expert answers. He's a guy who knows his business reputation depends on good cars going out the door and I feel I got a very good car at the price and a hassle-free sale. I'll go back to TVS when I'm in the market again.

This company is amazing!! Dont risk going anywhere else. I've had bad experiences with dodgy dealers in the past, but these guys go above and beyond.

No matter what your budget you're treated like a king. The experience has been so good my family and I have purchased 3 separate cars all of which have been amazing value for money.

All of their cars are clean, tested, reliable. They offer a level of personal service that is so rare in our current age.

What really amazed me was I went to pick up my car and Mark put a little present in there for me, a six pack of beer and something for my wife. He made me feel like I'd just spent 20k on a new car when I'd actually spent less than 2k, what a legend.

I had bought a car off this garage and had unfortunately suffered mechanical problems as the clutch/flywheel started to become very noisy around 4 months after I had purchased it. I just googled the problem and to my horror,various forums had confirmed that it would cost over £600 to replace.

I also appreciate that the car was 12 years old and had covered 110000 miles and i had only paid £1800 for it but it had come with a 3 month warranty

Now I would fully expect all garages to tell me I had no leg to stand on.However, Mark was incredibly fair and even offered to do the entire job as a token of goodwill as it was just outside the warranty.

I only hope that action will be fully rewarded back to TVS as I can only say great things about them and I will be returning in 18 months to get a newer car.

I was looking for my first car and this garage had a high mileage 1.5 diesel renault.I was a little hesitant but Mark came across incredibly well and he had showed me the workshop receipts and all the items that were replaced to ensure trouble free motoring including a timing belt replacement that was not even due until the following year.

I can now write this having purchased the car in october 2015, the car has proven to be very reliable and i have recommended my family and friends to go there.

I am disgusted & disappointed with how I have been dealt with by TVS Glasgow. I bought a car from here for a week later it have to be returned because of a very bad oil leak, that was ok the man apologised and gave us a different car after me saying I wanted my money back but apparently that wasn't an option how I wish I had demanded my money back as now I'm left with nothing as the 2nd car within the warranty period timing belt snapped and needs the engine replaced which is very costly, I contacted TVS as we were covered by warranty to be told we weren't getting any help towards having the car fixed and so now with 2 young kids and another due next month I have a car sitting doing nothing that I can't afford to fix and I'm still paying insurance and tax on. I DO NOT recommend using this company, it has put me off buying from a garage again.
