Last time we went (last weekend Oct 2017), the fish & chips wasn't very nice. The fish was fresh, but terribly overdone. The chips were good though.

A very enjoyable takeaway whilst on holiday.

Got a margaretta pizza wasn't very nice as it was very peppery. Pizzas were tastier without the pepper in the sauce so won't be buying another pizza again as I don't like pepper as a lot of people do they need to take the pepper out of there sauce

One of the best. Always a place to stop on way to England.

After winning the British fish and chip shop of the year title, this place went through a spell of being very mediocre. Glad to say that it's back to it's best under new ownership! Fish suppers are excellent. Only negative is that it could do with later opening hours at night.

Nice friendly staff very clean and most of all great food.

chicken supper and white pudding supper ordered at lunchtime to take away (330/4pm, very quiet might i add),
daughter and mother, to take away for a nice wee end to the afternoon down to the park, with the dogs and dinner, nostalgic memories,
for a nice wee afternoon during troubling times,
dinner al fresco (not raining) and a wee walk with the dogs afterwards.

WELL,

Chicken was over-cooked by a mile!

the dogs wouldn't even touch it!!!

all right.....,
thought this was a one off and tried again 2 weeks later, and by luck it was the same young man who cooked the chicken before i made him aware of how disappointed i was with the last meals, and asked him how could he not see how badly he had cooked the chicken ?

all i got was questions ......

when were you in?
what did you order ?
do you have the receipt??? !!!
no, i cant remember you.

all i wanted was an acknowledgement, and maybe an apology..

i wouldn't have minded as much but this was the only order he was cooking at this time, its not as though he was run off his feet and took his eye off the chicken, i found this insulting, what ever happened to customer service ?
