Worst service ever from Border Toyota Dumfries. Messed about for months when trying to book car in for recall. Passed from "pillar to post" when ringing to arrange with no one willing to take ownership of issue. Excuses made re completing work. Fortune in time and cash spent telephoning and trying to sort matter out to no avail. Do yourself a favour and go to Border Toyota Carlisle instead - Absolutely fantastic, friendly, efficient and professional service

After receiving a Toyota recall for my Avensis, a date was arranged for repair. I took my car in for the allotted time i.e. 0830 hours, went to the service desk to present my keys, but got no response at first. However a salesman beckoned me to another desk and the process was finalized by a very pleasant young lady with an apology for the wait. A courtesy car was made available to me whilst my car had a new part fitted. The car was a Aurus hybrid which was fine until you tried to get going. It took me ten minutes to finally start the bloody thing and off I went to do some shopping, plus fiddled about to learn more on how to work it. After that it was a good drive (electric petrol). I took it back for the time they gave me, and to my delight my car had Been fixed. Overall my experience was a good one. Thank you Toyota Dumfries.
