This week is mental health awareness week and the theme is stress.
While stress isn't a mental health problem in itself, it can lead to a range of mental health problems such as depression and anxiety, and even self-harm and suicide.
By tackling stress, we can go a long way to tackling mental health problems.

A Granada Reports investigation has found elderly people, in their 80s, who have little choice but to provide round-the-clock care for disabled loved ones for free.
It is free because carers lose their carer's allowance when they reach pension age. The charity Age UK estimates that saves the Government £15bn each year.
Yet that free care can come at a cost to the elderly carer's own health........ http://www.itv.com/…/why-do-the-north-w ests-elderly-carers…/

Personal assistants have made a profound difference to Nadia Clarke’s quality of life. “Without PAs I’d be left frustrated and I think it would have affected my mental health,” explains the 25-year-old from West Yorkshire, who has cerebral palsy and is profoundly deaf.

Our Business Development Manager, Richie Healy, has been walking 10'000 Steps Everyday between the 1st - 31st March to raise money for Cornwall Hospice Care. This is following the loss of his very dear friend’s daughter, Lyndsey, in January, after a very short, but extremely brave battle with Cancer.
This weekend sees the final steps on his journey and we want to say good luck and well done to Richie - as well as urge our friends and followers to help support his cause.
Dona...tions can be made via Richie’s Just Giving page linked here, which also provides Richie’s story in full:
