Wow, what a great pub, excellent food, relaxed atmosphere, fab wine. Lovely staff. Thank you.

Went Friday with our dogs and the place is lovely. Food is nice and the customer service is brilliant. It's so nice we went back today

We stopped on our way back to Worthing, we sat out side as the weather was lovely, we had the roast beef it was very nice the staff was very friendly even tho we were out side they keep coming out to make sure everything and us were ok, great service we will remember this pub for another time, x

We just happened upon the Travellers Joy yesterday...we had the fish platter it was very tasty , certainly plenty to eat!

The staff and owners were very attentive and friendly ....certainly look forward to going back again.

The new management have really turned this in to the pub it should be!! Good beer, families welcome and most importantly good food!!

The food is superb, the service excellent and the prices very reasonable. We went back twice in the week we were staying in the area. Thursday night steak night is a must!!

Nice pub with very good food at reasonable prices. I had two really good meals there, the only downside is that it is quite small and there is a need to book to ensure getting a table. If I holiday in the area again I'll certainly eat and drink there.

New management off to flying start. New menu was lovely. Burgers ( think 1/4 of cow) mussels smelled amazing Defoe next visits choice. Nikki, Craig?( chef) welcome to the neighbourhood. Keep this up!

My wife and i happened to be passing today and called in for a bite to eat, we both had the All Day Brunch, it was absolutely delicious and we will definitely be returning sometime soon, and to top it off, extremely friendly staff and regulars that made you feel very welcome, thank you.

Just dropped in for a cool drink had some food was lovely staff & service was great thank you

I had a great evening there with friends and the staff and locals were fantastic!

Had the luxury fish pie absolutely amazing, loved it , hubby had the fish and chips he loved his too , plenty on your plate

Had the fish and chips with mushy peas.

Absolutely splendid, proper portions, staff attentive, first class.

I was so full, I couldn't even manage a pudding .

Brilliant pub, well kept real ales and beer and good wholesome traditional pub food served well. Other punters very friendly, lots of laughs and cheer and a good old log fire too. What more could you ask for?

Been here several times as friends live close by. The selection food is very good especially for vegetarians and they do light lunches and bigger meals. Plus they allow dogs which is great for me too. �

A lovely pub serving excellent food and 2 minutes from the Camping and Caravanning Club site at Nutbourne.

A brilliant band called This Way Up used to play there, but the pub now they have a new manager, so they no longer have This Way Up playing bad move I think and a real shame as me and my family and friends used to meet have a meal which I have to say was very tasty, and listen to the band very enjoyable evening it was too. Just have to go else where then pity
