Went for dinner and we were a little tight for time with a show booked and the manager was great on getting the food out fast � looooved the Trini Curry! Recommend it if you can’t handle spicy food (like me)! Can’t wait to get back!

We had a brilliant evening here! Food was super tasty and spicy with a great atmosphere. I love the decor and would highly recommend if you fancy trying something a bit different. Music is loud but they play good tunes so we were happy!

Was here Saturday 10th October the place was nice and clean and bright with good tunes playing in the back ground I ordered the Caribbean brown chicken it came with coconut rice and dumplin it was amazing tasted great and was really filling I had 2 different cocktails and they were great my partner ordered the curry goat came with the same rice and dumplin he's a big eater and couldn't finish it it was that good we ordered the exact same meals to we could take them home with us they dishes these into plastic containers for us � also they have red stripe on tap defo recommend this place and we will be back the staff were so friendly can't fault them 1 bit

I was here on Hogmanay before we headed to the street party and I can’t fault a single thing. The service food and cocktails were all outstanding. We are already planning a night to come back with the family as we know they will all love it to! Keep up the good work �

I am from the Caribbean myself so I was a bit sceptical about how similar the food would even compare. Boy was I wrong, this place is vybz! Will definitely be back. It made me feel like I was back home. The jerk chicken is to die for.

Great food, great ambience, good service. Will be back to try more of the menu. Everything I had tonight was so tasty and it was very well presented. Strongly recommend to anyone looking for authentic Carribbean cuisine!

Belatedly celebrated my husband’s birthday by having lunch at Trenchtown today.



Wonderful decor, tasty drinks, and amazing food. Had the Sea Me Shrimpin’ and absolutely adored the rice and sauce - could’ve eaten plates full of the rice alone!

Been here a few times now and every time it’s been great. Last night we went as a group of 6 we all enjoyed our food, drinks and service �

Highly recommend the goat curry

Authentic Jamaican tongue tingly sauces, friendly service and ice cold Red Stripe Jamaican beer a must visit for those who love Caribbean food and drink. Will definitely go back. ��

Amazing place with amazing food!! We went there tonight with a party of 20, not a single complaint from anyone!

The service was awesome and the prices very reasonable. Definitely recommend and we will definitely be back.

Amazing place and food! The staff were all lovely too.

Went tonight. Was good food. Just a shame you gave me pork ribs when I asked for beef ribs but charged me for beef ribs which cost nearly £4 more. Wish if noticed before paying the bill. Otherwise happy. Usually I don't like pork but the pork ribs were pretty good that's why I didn't say at the time. Hope to try the beef ribs at some point.

Tried this place to get us in the mood for our carribean cruise in July , NYE late lunch, gorgeous chicken breast curry, goat curry was tasty too and we liked the atmosphere, we will return.

Good food and a nice colourful atmosphere. Felt a little unsure as to how the food would be as it came to the table incredibly quickly, but it was decent all round. Definitely recommend �

This is definitely the kind of place edinburgh needs and I'm a fan of Caribbean food as I've been going to various places in the Caribbean for as long as I can remember however the food was nice but not amazing but I would come back as I wanna try the red snapper lol. Disappointed in the music choice I think a bit bob Marley / steel band music would of been more suitable and I would of felt like I was in the Caribbean.. I didn't check out the cocktails as I was driving but if you haven't got Jamaican smile or bob Marley cocktails on the list then figure out how to make a Jamaican smile and get it on the menu.��

The decor is lovely. The food was nice but average. A little heat rating next to each dish would have been helpful as the coconut rice was quite spicy and it was not written on he menu. It would have been easier to identify staff with a uniform as each one was dressed like a customer. Staff were friendly however and the portions were huge. I would go again but definitely try something else.

So we were pretty excited being Trinidadian, we thought yeh so good food, got to say we eat Trini most nights wife an amazing Trini cook. So the rub.. nice set up. Menu looked promising however Roti is not roti, Trini doubles anit Trini doubles although tasty with the bakes. I had the goat curry one of my favorite dishes, a little let down here. We also had the brown chicken over powered by the ginger unable to eat it.. and the Jerk Chicken again the balance just not there. Will we be back yeh, because although we were disappointed, there was a good atmosphere about the place and we hope meet folks from the Caribbean
