Went in for some brunch with the other half and the kids last weekend. Had to queue for a short while as it was busy, but we took this as a good sign that the place was popular. We were not mistaken! Service was fast and extremely friendly. Plenty to offer on the menu with great specials. Loved the food, barely anything left on any of our plates and we were all stuffed for the rest of the day! Will certainly be returning soon for more!

User

Went here last weekend for the first time as West End Tribeca really let us down. We absolutely loved our food, drinks and service! The food was perfectly cooked and was served hot. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Staff explained that the restaurant is under new management so will definitely be returning here. (Definitely won't be returning to West End Tribeca.) So glad we now have a Tribeca that serves great food! Look forward to returning!

User

Thought we would give this place another shot now it’s under new management and we loved it. Great service, tasty food and good portions. They are doing a great job in turning it around from previous owners. Will be back soon to try brunch menus and cocktails

User

The food was amazing, and the kids menu was absolutely fantastic, our daughter loved it. The girl who served us on Sunday evening (who's name I didn't get) was an absolute delight, nothing was too much trouble and she was so lovely and friendly, wouldn't hesitate to return. Would definitely recommend Tribeca Metro, Bell Street in Glasgow.

User

My boyfriend and I went for breakfast to TriBeCa on Saturday morning. We both opted for the Varick breakfast and it was fantastic. The food was good; the service was friendly and efficient; and we did not wait long for a table or for food. We will definitely go back.

User

I have read others comments and can understand the frustration as I think this location has had some issues but since we were in town gave it a try as we like Tribeca. Went for breakfast and to be honest it was as good if not better than the others in the group. Food was delicious and we were very well looked after. All in all a very pleasant experience

User

Went in because they're one of the few places that serve brunch till 5pm (I like a long lie on Sundays!) Had the Varrick breakfast which was lovely but a bit overpriced at £12.95. Best thing was definitely the strawberry snow blizzard - well worth £4.50! Service was good, given the weather it wasn't too busy though. I would go back but only on pay day!

User

I’ve had food delivered from this branch so I expected good things when visiting. Unfortunately our cheque was lost because “two went through at the same time” so we waited well over an hour for our food. It takes less time to have them deliver to my home. They knocked the drinks off the bill which was good but I’d rather have just had the food in a timely manner!

User

The staff looked uninterested , no urgency about the service , there was no wifi or you couldn't pay by card which caught people out , people had walked out because they were waiting so long. l know that food has to be cooked, but nearly a 45min wait is not really acceptable. To give them some credit the food was delicious.

User

We went for breakfast about 10 and waited 45 mins for drinks to come and then extra 5-10 mins for food, when the food came it was frozen! We then got told the chef was hungover today! Not a good place, not good customer service and not impressed with the food I wouldn’t even leave one star.

User

Was looking forward to trying this place but I was disappointed. It was really cramped, I had to ask the people at the table next to me to get out of their seat so I could get out of mines. There was dirty cutlery and my hash browns were over cooked. I asked for the eggs well done and they were runny. We were right at speakers on a Sunday morning and the music was blasting as if it was a Friday night. We weren’t given a price list for drinks but was shocked when the bill said the glass of apple juice we got was £3.50!

User

Visited today - after being seated whilst waiting 15 mins as there was lack of staff 3 FOH staff for a bank holiday, then waiting 10 minutes for someone to take drink and food order, drinks then came and they weren’t correct, Nearly 25 mins after getting our drinks we got our food the French toast tasted like warm bread with a hint of cardboard, Staff weren’t interested and will stick to woodlands in future

User

Visited today - Waited 20 minutes to be seated (without being told how long it would take) this is usual for all tribeca’s in Glasgow so we didn’t mind. We were then seated and when our drinks eventually arrived they were wrong. The food then arrived which was cold and tasted like cardboard. We swiftly sent it back.

I’ve been a customer of TriBeCa Dumbarton road, woodlands and giffnock for years and never been so disappointed in the food. It’s not cheap so you’d expect good quality food. I know they can do better and that’s why it’s so disappointing. Will be sticking to the woodlands TriBeCa from now on.

User

Visited on Friday - after seated waited 10 minutes for someone to take drinks order, a further 10 minutes for the drink and then another 15-20 minutes for someone to take a food order. Nearly an hour after getting our drinks we got our food , ordered another drink and it took that long we had finished our food and left it- still had to pay. Staff weren’t interested and the managers attitude was stand off from the word go. Will stick to Giffnock

User

Very disappointed with our visit today. Whilst the staff were pleasant enough and tried to accommodate our family the service was extremely slow, not ideal when you have 2 children with you. We waited 20 minutes to be given our drinks! At this point the table of two next to us left before they had even been served after commenting on the poor service (chef on mobile phone etc). When my food arrived I was served a slice of dry toast piled high with smoked salmon and overcooked, unseasoned scrambled eggs. The side salad was less than desirable with limp lettuce leaves and a dribble of balsamic glaze. The whole thing was completely dry and tasteless. It seems there is a complete lack of management and organisation and whoever is sending food out of the kitchen couldn't care less! What a shame as the other TriBeCa restaurants come so highly recommended!

User

Our excitement for our evening ended as soon as we arrived. Tables were dirty to start with, thought perhaps it had been busy before our arrival, so no big deal. Same two tables sat dirty with empty bottles and used napkins for the duration of our visit. Ordered a clansman, described in the menu as a pan fried chicken burger with a haggis fritter and whiskey sauce. Clansman arrived as a beef burger with haggis and a stale bun. Feel of the place was very rocky horror picture show, and not in a good way. Weird. Friday night at 7pm, dead, cold and unpleasant. On a plus, decent tunes.

User

Horrendous experience from the minute we walked in. We had to ask to be seated after waiting and being ignored. We then sat down had to wait 25 minutes on a menu which we had to ask for. Then after being ignored some more we had to ask to order food. All in all we waited 35 minutes no drinks had arrived until we walked out. Would not recommend!! We were not the only table to leave and felt sorry for the waitress who was doing everything she could have but clearly there is a lack of staff, organisation and overall poor customer service!

User

Decided to come to the city centre Tribeca for some pancakes today and myself and a group of friends were thoroughly disappointed. After waiting for 10 minutes, we were sat at a half-cleaned table and told it would take 10-15 minutes for our food to be cooked. After waiting for 1 hour and 20 minutes we were presented bog standard plates with very little effort in presentation (baring in mind each dish was priced above £10...). Although the waitress, after much discussion, took 50% off of our bill, the service was poor and the food was extremely average. Such a shame as we love the West End café. Won't be returning.

User

Came in for breakfast after a work night out/ overnight stay and when we walked in the chef shook his head as if he didn’t want us to come in but the server said it was ok and arranged a table for 7 of us. When we ordered our food we were told the delivery hadn’t come in and a lot of food was out of stock but we went ahead and ordered anyway, I regularly visit your west end restaurants and love it so we stayed and I was looking forward to my colleagues trying one of my favourite restaurants ! We waited 45 minutes for out food to come and one of our party went down and the food was all lying out and she even asked the chef if he was ok as he didn’t look like he was coping and he told her he was hungover !! We still gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited on our food which arrived and it was stone cold and the pancakes were burnt. This is not the standard of service I have received in your other restaurants and we decided we weren’t going to eat the food as it looked awful. We then went downstairs and said we weren’t happy with the food and we’re going to leave to which your staff look confused so we told them the food was cold and your chef was hungover and he just stared at us, we asked for a number to contact head office and we got told it had been taken over recently and there is no one for us to contact. I find this totally unacceptable.
