We need your views on an exciting heritage project happening in Portsmouth!
The LCT 7074: Resurrecting a D-Day Hero project, a partnership between the National Museum of the Royal Navy and the D-Day Story, is seeking funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund. The project will save the LCT (Landing Craft Tank) 7074, an historic ship built for and used during D-Day in 1944, and see it moved from the historic dockyard in Portsmouth to the newly re-opened D-Day Story in Southsea. It will be open for visitors to explore and will offer an exciting and immersive experience for tourists and local people alike.
