Fuel is now available 18 hours a day in Aberfoyle - you may have noticed our roadside sign lit up on some evenings.
2019 improvements to the facilities are now complete ready for the summer season. As well as a smart new pump giving us extra diesel nozzles, an outside card payment machine is now operational when the shop is shut, so the pumps are open from 5.30am to 11.30pm every day.
Setting up these unmanned facilities has required several other upgrades, including improved... lighting, CCTV and safety features, all of which are now up and running too.
Our grateful thanks to those who made these new facilities possible and helped our project:
- Funding support was received from the Scottish Enterprise Rural Petrol Stations Grant Scheme and also from our fuel supplier Highland Fuels. - Our principal contractors PPS Ayrshire and https://www.facebook.com/Thomas-M-Rennie- Builders-196939520940106/ have done a great job. - The unmanned outside payment facility relies on a very prompt local response to any issues on site, so thanks also to our ongoing volunteers who will help us meet these regulations.

It’s a Green Christmas here at the garage shop. Looking for organic, vegetarian, gluten-free or other specialist foods? Or eco-friendly cleaning products and soap. We're already stocking or ordering these in for our customers, including milk, fresh bread, groceries, snacks and juices - about 50 new items have gone onto the shelves in December.

Our holiday opening hours are below, please help us keep solid fuel in stock throughout by buying this early.
De-icing salt is available in large 25kg bags this weekend (orders also taken for this size). 10kg bags will arrive middle of next week.

Starting this week we’re pleased to be stocking premium Scottish milk in smaller sizes – 1 pint and 1 litre bottles are now available, as well as cream.

Lots of new products now in stock - our range has increased by over 200 items this year already. Just let us know if there's anything you would like us to check out, especially if it can't be found locally.
We’re saving up to help pay for our first new fuel pump, so everything we sell helps bring that closer!

We can also take special orders for some items if the shop doesn't hold regular stock e.g. lawnmower spark plugs, animal feed etc.

Latest shop arrivals for Easter, by customer request.
Gardening supplies including compost, weedkillers, pest control, fertilisers, trugs, gloves, brooms...
Also we can now supply bags of bulk feed for animals e.g. poultry, horses, sheep, pigs and dogs - currently by order only, but we'll hold stock if there's enough demand.

New arrivals into our pet and wild bird ranges during the last week - compressed hay, straw & shavings and mealworms all now in stock, by request. Happy to try and fill any gaps in what's available locally if it can be done. Just let staff in the shop know and we'll check it out.

Just a wee update on winter stocks, as the bad weather continues. Suppliers have been struggling a bit to meet our orders.
Salt - only a few bags left now, expecting more in during Saturday afternoon. Still have some salt sticks.
Shovels & sledges - more shovels now in after selling out, plus a few sledges.
... Solid fuel / wood - everything in stock. Note that due to production disruptions the kindling and briquettes are not our usual types. We'll be stocking Hotties heatlogs from now on, and our normal extra dry kindling will be back in stock in a week or so. In the meantime big bags of kindling for £3.
Calor Gas - everything in stock just now but demand as always difficult to predict. Next delivery Tuesday we'll be back up to full levels. Probably best to phone in and check if you're making a special trip into Aberfoyle for gas before then.
Birdseed - still have most types although out of large tubs of fatballs. Large delivery due in today including new items - feeders & mealworms.
Screenwash, de-icer, antifreeze - all types in stock Foot grippers - all sizes S to XL. Also plenty hats, gloves, socks, fleecy insoles, waterproof trousers!

Our 'food on the go' now includes these great sandwich packs with views of Loch Lomond! It's good to be able to offer everything travellers expect to find at a filling station.
Thanks to Willie and the team at Wizgonies in Balloch who have helped by extending their delivery area to Aberfoyle.

We now stock a selection of delicious 'real bread' to choose from - white, brown, sliced, unsliced, bloomers, granary, sourdough, wholemeal, Vienna.... Organic bread is available too. All produced by the Bavarian Bakehouse in Kirkintilloch using high quality flours and traditional hand-crafted methods.
Rolls are also available - soft or crispy.

Several new products have proved very popular so good to see we are filling a gap. NB the full range of paintbrush sizes is now back in stock for those who were looking for them.
