This evening's crew enjoyed their journey in the Arnold Clark Renault Kadjar to Balquhidder, Lochearnhead and Strathyre to fit new pads to the community defibrillators owned by the lovely people at the Balquhidder, Lochearnhead and Strathyre Community Trust.
They were also available for Scottish Ambulance Service calls.

One of our crews enjoyed meeting the crowds at Eid in the Park at Callendar Park today.
We delivered CPR + AED training, and there was enthusiasm across all age groups.
Thanks Falkirk Muslim Forum for your kind invitation and hospitality.

Here's the happy couple...

Our best wishes go to long term team member Steve and his fiancée Susan, both also paramedics, who get married today at Kinlochard.
And yes, it was Steve who wanted his picture taken with 'his other loves' - his kids and a team Hilux.

Thanks you Ellagh and Rose for these lovely cards. The happy smiling faces and attention to detail of our clothing are very good.
Recently, we visited Buchlyvie Primary School and delivered CPR training to the whole school. Clova, one of our trainee search dogs attended too and Rod gave a talk about how Clova finds people before she went off and demonstrated how good she is at searching.

This past weekend saw us help with four community events, over and above our first responder cover, checking public defibs etc.
On Saturday:
Drymen Croftamie & Buchanan Gala Day saw Sion in his role as master of ceremonies, and with Nikola, Heather and James there with one of the team's Arnold Clark Toyota UK Hilux vehicles for kids to view, chat to everybody and of course provide first-aid cover. Drymen Community Fraser C. Robb
... The Kippen Street Fayre saw Steven, Amanda and Stuart, with SAR dogs Spock and Bowie attend with the new Renault Kadjar and other #Toyota #Hilux from Arnold Clark to do a presentation at the fantastic and very busy dog show at the Primary School, let kids see both vehicles, chat to everybody and provide first-aid cover. The Village of Kippen
St Mary's Episcopal Church Summer Fair at #Aberfoyle saw Joanne attend, later assisted by Amanda and Bowie. They provided CPR + AED training for people visiting, chatted about our work and of course everyone enjoyed meeting Bowie. #ScottishEpiscopalChurch Aberfoyle ....what's going on ?
Sunday:
Dunoon Police 5-a-sides Dunoon Police Station saw Rod with Clova, Amanda with Bowie and Stuart attend the fantastic event at Dunoon Stadium at the request of Police Scotland to engage with those attending. Having travelled in the Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental Toyota Hilux, they were able to chat to people, explain what the search dogs can do and show the vehicle and kit on board.
Overall, a great weekend that saw many kids having a great time. Thanks Arnold Clark, Renault and Toyota for all your help.

Today we remember our oldest associate member Bill Barrington MBE, who was one of those men who landed at Normandy on D-Day.
Bill also landed at Algiers and Salerno before that.
Sadly, Bill passed away last June, aged 97yrs.

From Jan-May 2019 we've delivered 41 Heartstart or CPR + AED classes, training 735 people emergency life support skills. All delivered by our amazing #volunteers.
We've had 8 uses of our public access defibs already this year and so we've now seen 18 people resuscitated by the public using these.
Already this year our members have spent over 1,000 hrs checking, cleaning and replenishing pads and batteries on these units - well worth the hard work, again all #volunteers

Thanks Fraser C. Robb for your kind invitation to the opening of your Drymen Business Hub today.
Our Steven and Sion were delighted to attend and view the facility, which we plan to hire for indoor training.
It was a great opportunity to engage with local politicians, voluntary groups and local businesses too.
