Tulle Box Creations Description
Tulle Box Creations specialises in handmade CE certified dress-up tutus, costumes and accessories. We also make occasion-wear, clothing and hair accessories.
All fancy dress tutus and costumes intended for children aged 1-14 are CE certified, as required by law. You can buy from Tulle Box Creations in the confidence that these items have been stringently tested to meet all the necessary safety requirements for disguise toys sold within the EU. These items will all bear the CE mark on their label or swing tag.
Fancy dress tutus for other age groups, or tutus and clothing not intended to be worn in play (eg. occasion wear) do need require CE testing, but you can be rest assured that as much care, attention and love are put into hand making all of our items, whether they must carry the CE mark or not.
Please note, hair accessories containing small parts are not recommended for children under 36months due to choking hazard.
Unless otherwise stated, all items at Tulle Box Creations are custom made. Turnaround time may be up to 4-6 weeks during extremely busy periods, although we will do our upmost to keep the turnaround time at a minimum. Occasionally there will be ready-made items available for purchase.
It is advised that you order your custom-made items within plenty of time, especially in the lead up to Hallowe'en and Christmas. However if you have an order you need within a tight deadline, please do message to enquire and we will do our very best to accommodate you.
A £10 non-returnable deposit per costume /clothing item is required to secure your slot. The remaining balance must be paid before the item is delivered to you.
Items are sent via Royal Mail unless otherwise stated. Postage and packaging costs vary depending on the size and weight of the item, and the exact price will be given to you when you order, but an approximate guide is as follows;
Hair accessories - £0. 90-£1. 30
Tutu skirts, dresses or clothing - £3. 90-£4. 40 (recorded delivery)
Postage costs will be combined if more than one item is ordered at the same time.
Local collection is welcome, and local delivery may be available - please message to enquire.
Payment should be made via PayPal - this a secure and confidential method of payment. You do not need to hold a account with PayPal to pay using this method, a bank card is sufficient.
Returns information for standard made items;
Upon receipt of your items, you may return them unused and unworn within 14 calendar days. In the unlikely event that the item is faulty, the return postage will be paid by Tulle Box Creations and a replacement will be offered. Otherwise the return postage will be covered by the customer, and a refund will be made within 14 days of the receipt of the goods by Tulle Box Creations (Please note, as per the Consumer Contracts Regulations, if there is evidence that the item has been worn or tampered with then your refund will be reduced accordingly).
Returns for custom made items;
Due to the bespoke nature of the item, returns can only be made in the unlikely event that the item is faulty. Returns must be made within 14 calendar days and the return postage will be paid by Tulle Box Creations. A replacement or refund will be offered.
