Very unhelpful on the phone when I called up to let them know an idiot driving one of their vans nearly wiped me out on a roundabout and then proceed to stick the fingers up. Very unhelpful.

Very bad service, I needed a van urgently and being from Scotland I tried , Ayr, Glasgow & Edinburgh but they didn't have one, Manchester said they did so I booked it and travelled there, when I arrived I found that the van wasn't ready & hadn't been checked, even though Ayr branch & I had spoke to them the manager was very suspicious of why I wanted to hire the van being from Scotland, they got it out and surprise it had a fault so they couldn't let me hire it! the manager just said sorry & good bye! i couldn't believe that from 10am till 5pm they didn't check the van & didn't even offer to find another van for me from another local company. i had to ask them to at least give me some names & numbers of other firms near by which they did google a few, i drove across Manchester to Salford where i managed to get the van i needed actually for less money & hassle free Thanks to Salford Van hire, the best hire company i have ever used- i will never use this company again & suggest anyone needing a van in this area go straight to Salford

Manchester Branch is useless poor customer service no set prices I have been quoted 3 different prices for a van also got accused of renting a van when I have never used the company.



For a company with ''Great Service'' needs better management skills

Hired a Luton van from Edinburgh depot to do a house move. I recieved a phone call the evening before we were due to collect the van and informed that there wasn't one available. I was offered a smaller vehicle which was no good as we needed a tail lift and there was no mention of any sweetner, additional hire time or milage allowance to allow for the extra journies that would be required using a smaller vehicle. Very disappointed with the attitude and poor customer service which added massive amounts of stress to an already stressful situation. Safe to say I won't be using Turner again which is a shame as initial impression on booking was positive.

Hire a 7.5t van. Weeks before I needed it for a big move. Only to be phoned 2hrs before to say it has a fault and they don't have another one. Offered me a transit van instead and didn't even try to source another one. Phoned back 5mins later as I was fuming and said it's not good enough blablabla. He then phoned back and said there's one Glasgow but I would have to wait until the next day. I needed it on the day as traveling to England with it. He then said I could pick it up from Glasgow. Went to Glasgow only to be told that the Edinburgh branch said I preferred to rent from Glasgow. On return found one of the air tanks hanging off and also weather was heavy rain and water poured into the cab through the window. Also no adblue in the vehicle. So travelled to Glasgow, got wet, had to spend extra £10 on adblue, air tank hanging off which could of caused a breakdown and a very poor service. Not even an apologise, just a cheeky comment. Shocking service. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
