About Tweedbank Early Learners
We are open Monday to Friday during term time. We take children from 2-5 years, and can provide ELC places from the term after a child's 3rd birthday
Tweedbank Early Learners Description
Tweedbank Early Learners (formerly known as Tweedbank Playgroup) is Committee run and would not be allowed to legally run without all positions on the Committee being filled - a Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary are compulsory but we also have a Sub Committee - Vice Chair, and Fundraising group.
We are a registered charity - staff, supplies and all overheads are paid for by the group from childrenβs fees, fundraising and grants

....learning about our world and sharing what we know π
The impact of childrenβs surroundings on their development is well-documented. Our pedagogy is based on the desire to provide a physically and emotionally safe environment: one which has a nurturing atmosphere of warmth, affection and respect for each child, enabling them to make connections and foster real learning, in turn helping them to form a positive self-image, and building the foundation for lifelong success - we recognise the importance of hearing our children's voices in our environment, and believe that children's well-being has a huge impact on their development. We are inspired by many wonderful areas of thinking - Reggio, Froebel, Montessori, amongst others...plus a sprinkle of Danish Hygge π and we welcome your comments and feedback on our environment, thank you x
