Traveling with a camper van.
Pros: quiet, warm water, electric pitches.
Cons: Lazy staff, no proper grey water disposal place for fixed tank camper vans and no hose for filling up the fresh water tank.
I asked the receptionist about grey water dumping place. She said it's next to trash bins. I drove the van back to the bins and couldn't find it. I drove back to the reception and asked her to come to show it to me. She refused and was explaining me several times what is a manhole, like I would be an idiot. After I insisted several times, there was another lady, who reluctantly came over. There was a manhole covered with rainwater, so that it was almost impossible to find it for her too, no tools to open it, no sign on the wall to instruct the location of the manhole.
Absolutely outstanding spotless site Staff fabulous & pub food you have to try chef is amazing & Tow- Bar pub on site is full of really nice people will definitely be back. :) :) :)

Great caravan site , set amongst stunning views . Lovely wee bar 'Tow Bar' that serves great food and has a friendly atmosphere . The site is clean and tidy with great facilities and only a short walk to town . It is also a good location for glentress and Peebles as there is direct cycle path taking you to both . Spend a wk here and loved it ...site clean and family friendly ...will definitely be back.
