Unique Touch is a therapy service run by Vikki Mackay in the Far North of Scotland. We offer a complete family massage and wellbeing service covering pregnant mothers, babies, children and adults.

Having lived with Chronic Fatigue and Post Traumatic Stress for 10 years, I found massage was one of the few things that gave me relief from my symptoms and contributed hugely to my recovery. As a result, I find I can easily empathise with clients affected by chronic pain and also know first hand the benefits that massage can offer. During my twin pregnancy in 2004 /5 I suffered from severe lower back pain and was on crutches from 5 months. There was very little help for me in the local area and since having the twins I have always wanted to help other woman in a similar situation to myself.

My most recent employment was with the Highland Council where I worked in children's services. I worked with Health Visitors and Midwives as an Early Years Support Worker. This gave me more valuable experience in the different issues that expectant mothers and new parents can have and also how massage and relaxation techniques can help to alleviate these issues.

I have become involved in local sports clubs supporting my children who compete at various levels. They will tell you how much massage has helped them with any injury they have had.

I feel extremely lucky to have the opportunity to be starting a business that I feel truly passionate about and that will give me so much satisfaction helping others. I will particularly enjoy working with such a wide variety of clients, ranging from pregnant ladies to professional athletes, and watching them all benefit from what massage can offer.
