Universal Arts is an Edinburgh-based company, which runs a world-wide agency as well as co-producing stage shows with partners in a number of countries as well as consultancy services helping public and private bodies with the creation and administration of international festivals, international promotion of performing arts productions and advising on cultural diplomacy. Universal Arts also provides academic courses on subjects relating to international performing arts markets.

Universal Arts ran Fringe venues from 1990-2015, showcasing Scottish and international work to visiting international theatre and festival programmers at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the biggest and most important performing arts trade fair in the world.

Tomek Borkowy, CEO has been awarded a Herald Angel award for having consistently presented high-quality international work during the Festival and Universal Arts was also presented with the prestigious Herald Archangel award for outstanding work across all three Edinburgh international festivals.
