Don’t you just love this alfresco danceathon in Edinburgh today!

We absolutely love the Edinburgh Festival but must admit a secret too - it always feels a little exciting when it's over! The streets of the Old Town are quite a lot easier to get around now!

What a morning for our first Early Bird tour - it never stopped raining but the rain didn’t dampen our spirits and it was a pleasure to show Thomas, Alice and Audrey Edinburgh on their first visit to Scotland! We finished with a well deserved hot drink in the Elephant Cafe - a Mecca for Harry Potter fans with the most photographed loos in Scotland!

It's a miserable, rainy day here in Edinburgh. Always a bit annoying on a Sunday or on the other hand does it give you a perfect excuse to be lazy?! It's not great for Edinburgh Fringe venues anyway.

The last member in our team is Shawna, who's love affair with Edinburgh began when she moved to the city to study. Through a university summer project, Shawna set up her Instagram account @exploringedinburgh which has grown to become quite a phenomenon! Our next team member is lovely Colette, who moved to Edinburgh over 10 years ago! She’s lived and worked across 4 different continents and settled in Edinburgh with her beloved pooch Rudi (an adorable French Bulldog!) after 8 years of travelling. She’s also a passionate and talented baker, making the most beautiful and impressive cakes. Hello everyone! We thought it would be a good idea to properly introduce our team over the next few days! First up, Louise, who as well as being the force behind Unlock Tours, is also the Managing Director of Dickins Edinburgh Ltd! Her family moved to Edinburgh 30 years ago and she lives in the centre of the city with her husband Simon and their two lively and lovely young sons.
