Understanding Recovery Living Independently For East dunbartonshire

The aim of the Group shall be to assist the recovery process of members moving away from backgrounds involving addictive substances and /or behaviour by promotion and support of group based activities, and community programmes including. : -

A )Running low key social outdoor natural activities for children, families and formed community groups, these events create fun team building social networks , with a view to confidence building and development of personal skills.

B) Providing advice on substance abuse to school children using the knowledge accumulated “first hand”(during their recovery journeys)of tackling addiction issues.
