Was told there was a 20 min wait for a table, which is fine......... when the chef isn’t eating on his own at a table for 4! Went next door to chez joules and was treated much better.

Food great quality. Service friendly and accommodating. But of a wait for drinks but overall very nice

I had an amazing breakfast with friendly, efficient service. The music playing could well have been from my very own iPod! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Edinburgh.

When you walk in you think, "That's it?!" And then they take to the much bigger dinning room space. The space has character and very inviting. Everything was fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive too. My French toast was out of this world, but if you aren't into sweet breakfast don't order it. My husband enjoyed his eggs and toast with avocado, tomato and spinach. Very different type of breakfast for us but we enjoyed it.

I was disappointed there was no pour over option on the coffee menu. But the lady behind the till insisted that I try the filter coffee. She gave me a sample to try. It was delicious.

I ordered the baked eggs for breakfast and they were also delicious. I was surprised at how quickly my food arrived considering how busy it was.

It's clear why this place has a high rating. Good coffee, good food, lovely staff.

Disappointing. Over priced. Potion sizes are small. Smoothies are absolutely tiny. Waited 30 minutes for a seat waited another 20 minutes to be served. We had to ask twice to be served. Both times we were told "yes in a minute". The same waitress who said "one minute" then walked past us 3 times and still never took our order. No idea how long it would have taken if we didn't keep asking. Was on the verge of walking out.

I assumed the waiting list to get in was because they were busy but when you finally get to the table you realise it's because they aren't taking any orders!

Don't waste your time here. Go to the Caffine Drip.

Fun informal place for lunch or brunch. Relaxed atmosphere. Eggs Benedict good but not the best around. A little more hollandaise, muffin more toasted and bacon less chewy. But I'm splitting hairs. I'll come back when I'm around here.

The staff seemed nice but and the food was good but way over priced. Wife specifically said no dairy and ordered eggs. Her breakfast was served and her eggs were made with milk. When it was corrected her plate was returned missing some of the tomatoes. The filter coffee was average but again way too expensive. Arrive took 45 min for food to be served. Nice place but too expensive for what you get.

Lovely place for my breakfast with many healthy options. Coffee was very good and well as the food. Definitely will return next time I visit Edinburgh
