I've found my new hair haven, I went in with an idea, with photos, and Keith was able to instantly direct me towards whether it would work for my hair regards the colour I already had in it (lots of crappy home dye jobs), how long it would take and was really accommodating. I ended up going blonde for the first stage of my idea but loved the blonde so much I've just returned for my roots and I scrapped my previous idea. I ended up with an ashy blonde delight and my hair was in amazing condition considering bleach was used. My hair is fine but a conditioning treatment was used which really aided its recovery and worked a treat. I think I'm going to be blond forever, thanks Keith! (Also... cheers for the cheeky beer to keep me in the Saturday afternoon spirit ;) ) Highly recommend.

Amazing experience with Leeanne! Professional service, cozy atmosphere and what I like the most that she was not too pushy with some products and asked before applying to my hair. Will definitely come back 😌

Should've written this review a long time ago! I've been getting my hair done at Urban for two years and won't go anywhere else. I tried so many other hairdressers including all the big chains but they all either did my colour well, or the cut - was so relieved to finally find someone who could get both right! Greg does exactly what I ask for, but also happy to offer his own advice if I want to do something new. Always have a great conversation and nice to get a good cuppa during the appointment. I spend a couple of hours at the salon each time so have seen the other staff interacting with other clients and they all seem super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

I've been going to urban for a couple of years now where I get my hair done by Keith love,he is always welcoming and enjoy a good chat with him when doing my hair,his attention to detail is second to none! always a good atmosphere in the salon to, can't wait for next hair cut ☺

First time in this salon yesterday and I went because of the previous reviews as they were so good. The service was brilliant and Leona listened to me and cut my hair exactly how I wanted it and gave me lots of tips and advice on the way. I could also hear the other staff really helping their clients with different styles, colours and choices.

Greg at Urban knows hair as well or better than anyone who has cut my hair before. Greg cares about what he does, takes pride in it, and does an overall excellent job. I definitely recommend Urban Edinburgh.

This review is long overdue. I've been coming here for years even though I don't even live close by. Great customer service, very friendly staff, top notch salon overall. Greg is very talented and does a good job running the place very smoothly. I highly recommend Urban.
