Wow, wow, wow!! We go out a lot, we love Indian food and we were desperate to try Usha's as we had heard loads of good reviews about this fabulous restaurant..

We weren't disappointed in our visit, staff were great, food was to die for and it was just an amazing experience, it felt like you were in your friends house having a meal..

If I could give this place 10 stars I would, we will definitely be back before the end of next week and I'll also be taking my clients there going forward..

Keep it up guys, you have an amazing place there...

Went for lunch and everything was amazing so tasty great service, the last time I was here was the middle of dec for a evening meal with my family and the food was not that good as usual I thought they had got a new chef ,so I was reluctant to go back because it was so bad but I’m glad I did .

We had our boxing club coaches night out here and were well looked after. Excellent Indian food and enjoyed the tapas style. Great service from the staff and a warm welcome from Ryan(?spelling?) who looked after us.

We dined in Usha on Byres road, we decided to eat here as another restaurant had messed up our booking and never had space to seat us.



This is easily my new favourite restaurant the food was amazing.



The host who welcomed us was incredibly welcoming.



The highlight of the venue though was our server who I believe was called "young Dylan" was very attentive without being invasive a passing comment was made that we had been married yesterday and that's why we were eating it he returned moments later with the dessert menus advising it was on the house.



I will be back to Usha very soon, thank you for making a special meal even more special with your amazing food, staff and ambient music.

Our third visit and the food just gets better each time! There are many Indian restaurants closer to my home but none of them compare to Usha's so I'll continue to cross the city toget the best Indian food I've tasted!! Great, friendly staff. Also excellent value - three of us had 2 courses plus juice for just over £20!!

Great staff, wonderful place, the food tastes really fresh and the flavours were well balanced. This was our first visit but it definitely will not be our last. The prices are very reasonable and I loved the selection of meat and vegetable dishes. It was so, so good.

First visit will be back. Had the backed haddock in Punjabi species it was fantastic. Main meals were great too. Nice friendly staff. Amazing.

First time at Ushas. Food was amazing. Will definitely be back. Our waiter Dylan was so friendly and attentive. Definitely added to the experience and all the lady's left with a red rose. What a lovely touch. Thank you. Spicy onions are the best!!

Finally an Indian restaurant that I can say has excellent food. Did not like Indian food before but it is the job of the chef to bring taste to every meal. Had the channa chicken, and I will be back for more. Thank you Usha's for a brilliant experience.

Fast friendly service...as authentic Indian food as I've found anywhere ...Samosa starter was ridiculously tasty!..in addition having the staff make a point of how and why their menu is set out in the way it is, without making you feel uncomfortable or stupid is just great...attentive without the constant, "How is your meal", that is my biggest annoyance when eating...amd I left with a big smile to match my similar waistline...truly a gem of a place.....

Fantastic experience this evening. Sati was very warm and caring, helped more than we expected. I almost feel as though I've found a new friend. Genuinely, quality service. The owner kieran was also very enterprising. And to top it all off, exceptional food.

Food was great apart from the mushroom pakora which was bland and very watery. Gulab jaman was not great either which was disappointing as it’s my favourite dessert. It was very hard and chewy? The three tapas curries were fabulous as was the rice and naan bread. The service is terrible. We waited almost an hour before our curries arrived at our table however I would give it another try.

First off, I want to say that we had a really nice diner. Lets start with the most important thing: the beer. It was delicious, we had to wait for it a bit, but totally worth it. The dishes tasted very nice, especially the butter chicken was quite excellent. However, we were curious about the rating “very hot”. We had nephew to take the chance, and order the most spicy dish on the menu. But unfortunatly, this dish turned out to be not spicy at all. We would like to advice you to reconsider the amount of spices you add to the dishes. In the future we would like to see an improvement regarding the spices.

Been here several times now never disappointed great food good service. Had voucher for tapas £12 for 2 great value. Will be back

Great food but service could be better. We arrived without a reservation and when the staff member who greeted us enquired of her senior colleague where we could sit she advised her to "stick them in a booth"! My wife and I were both wet from the rain but no one offered to take our jackets and we were made to feel generally unwanted.

My daughter really wanted to try Usha'a and treat me On arrival we were directed to a table for two I requested for a bigger table the place was empty only one other table was taken The female waitress made a remark that the bigger tables are for 4 not two but you can have it because we are quiet I was taken by that remark I was about to change my mind but my daughter asked me to let it go My vegetarian food was not up to scratch , but my daughter was happy with her meal The service was disappointing my daughter had to leave the table to request anything Also our food arrived with in 10/15 minutes of being seated , which left us wondering weather the food was fresh or microwaved we paid good amount of money for our meal but sadly will not be returning
